EA SPORTS FC 26

Really dumb question but i'm looking to buy FC26 on PC purely for career mode which I'll obviously mod. Do I need to buy the full game from EA or Epic etc, or can I use a Steam account sharing? I could access a mates account and save the £60 if so but I don't want to get him banned (obviously I know you need to stay offline with mods installed etc).
It is technically possible, even without your friend sharing his account, by generating a denuvo token from a ticket. But the process is somewhat not straight forward. Like, you have to patch the executable first for emulating the EA App within the framework, then contact the Denuvo server through the modifications applied alongside emulating the EA App, then generating ticket from their server and that ticket cancelled be used to generate the valid tokens from your friend and you have to copy-paste that token in an ini file. After these processes, you could open the game without accessing their account. Catches are:- Only offline, as long as you don't update your hardware or the system in general, the token would work.

Dear moderators, if you think this is not necessary, feel free to delete my message. This method is like "Steam Library sharing" without actually sharing the account.

The silent majority lose again. The streamers, and those who follow their every word like it's gospel, get their way.

Frankly, I don't care that it (hopefully) won't affect Authentic mode - I strongly believe the majority of Competitive mode (i.e. online players) want a football game too. It is SO unfair on them.

Forgive the language, but fuck me, it's infuriating.

Also heard they will patch CDM to not track back anymore too because of streamers complaining so we will be back in the FIFA 21 days.

Grabbed this from James‘ discord.

I need to upgrade my PC

Also, still not getting any fouls since the patch

Should’ve made it more clear! 🫡
My intention was to show that it is in the code!

Said it before and I'll say it again, proof nobody wants AI like this INCLUDING online players but excluding the "pros" (and their followers) who represent 1% of the audience:

(Can't embed it for some reason!)
When pros mention AI defending, they actually mean the auto-tackles that AI controlled player does which is usually very successful than manually tackling it. To be honest, i hate auto tackles too. PES never had it, FIFA never had it until FIFA 22 or 23 I believe. But how EA interprets that is dumbing down the AI position tracking, marking and attacking runs. They solve it by reducing attacking runs(to balance defense) and reducing AI marking logic and tracking(to balance attack). Because they simply don't understand what the players want. As a result they will constantly keep changing this every patch and no one will be happy. I think they should nerf auto-tackles, buff manual tackles(make attributes matter more and make it more responsive). Completely rewrite positioning, runs, passing lanes and tracking back mechanism from the ground up so the AI controlled player takes good position across the pitch and the attackers actually make attacking runs instead of just sitting like a statue and it will make everyone happy. It's either EA is not aware of this issue or they actually have no idea how to fix it. But these issues don't require PHD to solve it. If you give the current FC 26 code to folks like @Paul-v or @Anth James, they will fix it on a weekend. It's crazy how misguided everyone is. Super frustrating.

They’re just going to find something else to complain about anyway, it’s never enough for them, no matter how much EA caters to them

I have payed EA Play to see this and 25, while 26 feels a bit better i mean it feels like something from decades before in terms of gameplay. AI is stationary, players have no weight, no inertia, like really im playing Adidas Power Soccer from PS1. Its crazy there are no decent football games out there.

Maybe i can go back and try "manager" mode where i just watch the team play in Career mode but then i can also buy FM26.

Is it just me or does the whole video (and some junks of the comment section) scream „toxic“?! 🤷‍♂️

Dare I still ask… what’s up with peeps playing videogames these days?! 😉

I wouldn't even be surprised if this guy has never ever touched a football in real life. Moaning about the defense being overpowerd while in the first seconds the winger plays a perfect ground ball from the right side to the center, with no problems. Then the shitty excuse "Nobody can dribble". Yeah because in real life every attacker can just dribble through the defense and we have 5:6 results in every game, right? And the dribbling mechanics are probably still so easy, that you could master it after a few matches. But as soon as those influencers lose and something feels different, they cry like little babies.
And how can guys like this even watch real football matches? I mean even a game with the best of the best, Real vs Barca, ended "only" 2:1. But let me guess, his football knowledge is based on FUT Matches and Highlights on Tik Tok...
And then this narcissistic "I refuse to play the game, EA" at the end. Like ANYONE cares. If you don't like the game, go outside and touch grass or play other stuff for your viewers.

Totally agree with this. You only have to look at this forum to see that many have different experiences and I myself after a patch a few days apart while playing offline. There is no point in condemning one or the other knowing this and it has been valid for years in fact.

I’m sure this guy makes good points - but whoever it is, he doesn’t have a leg to stand on when he’s shilling out for FUT coin sites at the start of his video

It gives me hope to see growing pushbacks from what most would consider the "competitive" community:

...and how interesting is this...

Not as weird as the people being influenced by them
Since most of them are still very young and are still reliant on somebody else's opinion, I would disagree with you. And even adults can fall for a lot of things (scams, sects, gambling etc.). So in my opinion those influencers are responsible for how they use their influence. I don't like any influencers and I never fell for any of those things, but saying the people who are influenced are weirder, is unfair in my opinion.

And if any influencer thinks that a) because people watch their streams, their opinion is (more) important and b) you should make teenagers buy for example Fifa Coins through advertisements, then yes, in fact they are very weird. On top of that guys like above make teenagers think, it's totally normal to have the mindset: "Oh I played 60 minutes of one match and I don't like it, so I should complain. Then they will make it, like I want it.". That's a very toxic mindset.

Exactly, influencers are a product of the world we've made for them

Thankfully i don't use controlled sprint so it doesn't impact. As long as they don't ruin tackling.
Yeah it's such a minor adjustment even in modding, but it just goes to show the attitude. I'm glad they're listening to a degree, but the flip-flopping doesn't fill me with confidence.

Live tuning.🙄
EA has really elevated the patronizing, “We appreciate you taking your time to share your thoughts and we will continue listening.” crap this year too.🤮
