Why even have 11 vs 11 matches? Just release Rush as the game. I mean your ai players doesn’t do anything anyway. I go 1 v 1 as the game wants me to when I defend but then my opponent just pass the ball to a attacker who are through on goal since the other defender just don’t do anything/jog a couple of yards away from him. How is that football?
But as said before, it’s not a game for people who want to replicate some sort of real football. When I read the comments onTwitter for this patch I finally understood that football gaming is dead for people like me. I’m the minority and EA or whatever will never cater to us again. Simple as.
So I went back to Seasons and went for FUMA matches. And I got to say it’s quite good. It isn’t that hard to find matches, maybe there is a bigger audience out there who are tired of the pinball/hockey gameplay?
I have played around 15 matches and 3-0 is the biggest score so far. It’s mostly 2-1, 1-0, etc. I have seen goalkeepers making saves I haven’t seen in over 100 matches before when playing assisted, I have scored from crossing from different angles of the pitch and I have even seen a diving header that almost ended in a lovely goal.
It might be that it’s so far from the other crap and the flaws will shine through soon but I’m enjoying it so far. Give it a try and come back with your opinions! 😃

. Something like PES where we had a lot of unlicensed leagues and right after the premiere mods were created to fix it. The problem is that today such a game would reach only a small number of players. Today, most players want to have a complete product, most want to download the game and just play. There are few players like us for whom it is not a problem to spend extra time to install mods. Not to mention modders, because creating new content takes a lot of free time. Unless the game offered gameplay and a career mode as good as we have never seen in football games before. Then such a game could be successful even without a license. However, it would be too big a risk for the creators because every studio wants to make money on their games... That's why we probably won't see such a game. The only, although rather doubtful, hope for competition for EA and the creation of a modern and good football game is a new game from FIFA...
