To be honest, that sounds like something is set up incorrectly in your Steam input settings. Your controller should work out of the box there.


When you're buying the game on a different platform, it's going to start up the EA App anyway, so I would buy it there directly.

What is it then? It’s basic steam. All you can do is set controller to default, turn steam input on and off.

when you have like 4 controller connected plus keyboard and mouse… it messes stuff up. I had that before. No worries, I use an active hub and can disable the particular device with a button press.

Plus lots of articles and forum comments on „controller not detected by fifa using steam“ online… anyway. It’s working for me now. 😊
 
Just taken the plunge and bought the disc version for equal to around €33. I can't be stuck playing eFootball always, and I did like what I played in the trial, even with their updates. But the full price can't be justified for such a game. A game like Gran Turismo or some adventure game that releases every 3-5 years, sure. But an annual sports title with new kits, transfers etc. and a few minor gameplay tweaks? I don't understand how that's allowed to be the same price
 
Hey guys. I watched a lot of videos and read a lot of comments on this topic and I never can get rid of the stuttering cut scenes and corner kicks. I fiddled with the gfx settings, set performance for the game in windows gfx settings, tried AMD’s enhanced sync… and what not. Any ideas how to get it better smooth? I’m running a 5800x3d + 6800xt in win10. I’d be super thankful. 🙏
 
It's now 50% off on Playstation store. Going to dive in and get it! First EA football game I'll have bought since FIFA 14. Given up waiting on Efootball to make a game with a career mode and EAFC 25 feedback on here has been positive. One question. I have seen a Sim mode mentioned on the comments. If I select that, do I not need to mess about with sliders? Both things I've not seen before!

When you set it to sim mode, the slider values are locked. Some say it’s just a slider set, some say it’s different. I’m not sure neither do I care much, now that I have a gameplay mod rubbing wich suits my needs.

AMD's support for this game franchise is awful. I would always have this problem on my 6750XT on latest drivers but it went away after I got my 7700XT. Then suddenly the problem reappeared after a driver release. Right now, any driver after 24.8.1 (24.9.* introduced AFMF2 in memory serves) causes this problem for me.

Drop back to 24.8.1 and see if its better for you.

EDIT: I also have a good YT video for AMD BIOS settings whilst using X3D if you need it.

Are you using DDU to uninstall or the AMD cleanup Utility?

I set up pbo and some stuff, I think it’s undervolting.
I looked up my yt history… I was using this video as a guide:

Yeah, it’s a nice combo. I like it.
Next spring I’m getting a RDNA4 GPU to finally match the X3D more appropriately. About time after 3 years of using the 6800XT.

I don't see that much positive feedback anymore. Maybe the PC version is playable because of gameplay patches, but on PS/Xbox you are still suffering from massive AI faults and inconsistancy. I am back to PES21 at least until the next title update comes in.

EA App in my opinion.

Last time I purchased madden from steam, it still required launching EA App when pressing play on steam. Okay fine whatever. But then I tried to launch the game directly from EA App and I couldn't do it. It had to boot and log in to steam too so that the game can boot from steam to redirect to EA App to start the game.

So in my opinion its just more comfortable to be able to start the game from a single launcher even though the idea of requiring a launcher feels like a chore in the first place.

I dig your thought about comfort but it’s all like daisy chain starting. Click once and game starts. 🤷‍♂️
 
I played two games of EAFC 25 on PS5 and was so impressed. Having been devoted to PES all my life post Sensible Soccer, this game is just leagues ahead of the current competition. As a QPR fan, it's so nice seeing Loftus Road in the game and the likenesses of non-scanned players is very impressive. I miss the PES passing feeling for sure, but the pros of EAFC are way beyond what EFootball offers. Glad we finally have a football game for the current gen that I actually want to put some time into.
 
Does anyone know how to change commentary to english when i got the german version?

For FC24 there was a Registry entry where you could easy change the language.

I'm on football life at the moment and really enjoy it , I get you like the stadiums and presentation but what.about the actual.gameplay ? Every video I've seen the defenders are not defending

I disagree with your opinion.

There is noticeable delay and the fact that I have to start steam to boot the game even though I already had EA App opened is annoying in itself. Having launcher in the first place feels like an cancer to begin with. I always buy games from GoG if it's available there. Because I can just click on the game exe and instantly start the game without any BS.

It also does that on any launcher.
Steam you click play and it launches.
EA Play click game and it launches.

GOG is absolutely no different to Steam or EA App..
 
Adboards completely blacked out for la liga games, anybody know a fix or what the problem would be, im using esim and anths gameplay for mods, cheers if anyone can help
 
I mentioned how I bought the game, yes? I realised a couple days ago, what I actually bought was FC 24 (again, as I already own it). It's sealed at least, so I may be able to sell it on again at some point. Luckily, my moronity (not an actual word) was balanced by FC 25 being half price in the PS Store, so I went for it. Played a little Argentina v England yesterday on World Class, FUMA (inc. Jockey. I don't know if people categorise that under FUMA or not), Sim sliders.' Anyway, a 1-0 win thanks to Messi and his magic. It felt good tbh. I had played the same match on FIFA 23, and got ripped apart. FC feels more fair, perhaps a little easier. I'll definitely need to have a good number more games in the near future
 
Having played FC25 (modded version; Anth James V2) all weekend long, I have to mention one thing: I don’t feel cheated by the AI no more.
This was one aspect that took away a lot of fun for me in the past.

Same issue, want to use other languages for commentary but it's locked in English.

Registry doesn't do anything this year.

i have installed it on german, then changed language over steam to english, downloaded just a few kb files.

Started the game, it was english and at the splash screen it showed bottom left "X for change language" just changed it back to german.

Text was german ans commentary english

Exactly. Every launcher is bad.

GOG is absolutely different from other services. I can click on the game exe and it boots the game directly without having to wait for launchers to start.
