EA SPORTS FC 25

Clearly everyone seems to be playing a different game from me.
I am not even having remotely close games on WC maybe it is because I am playing in League One.

The problem for me is the amount of times you can run from midfield to the opposition goal line without ever being tackled and everyone runs out your way.

This is the problem with 1v1 - If it wasn't for this then there is probably an enjoyable game there.

You need to give me some tips 40 hours on WC difficulty I've not scored more than twice. Usually play decent teams to be honest obviously I'm not very good.
 
No changes to the passive AI watching you jogging down the sideline, as far as i can see. May be down to my acceleration slider values, but i am not willing to change them.

To be clear, I am not suggesting you are the issue when I say this...

My game looked so different to that. A world away. I could almost never get into the final third. I barely scored. Its bizarre that this is what you're getting...

Some people had to turn sim mode on and off as sometimes it switched back to default...

Every match is like this - If you try and play football the AI sits normally in two banks of 4 and defends and trying to pass round them can be difficult but soon as you hold the run button and run at them, they part like I am Moses and just let you run all the way to the penalty spot before they attempt to tackle.

This is just career mode at the moment and won every game including two 7-0 victories and beating Leicester 3-1 in the Caraboa Cup.

I put my Career Mode on pause in the expectation that the patch would fix female player models and/or faces appearing in male players for Youth and made-up players (if your team is Created Club etc.)... but the models and faces seem exactly the same. I started a new Career Mode save this afternoon to check. Still the same.

I'm pretty sure EA haven't done this on purpose to get any kind of social message across, and that it is just an error -- but it's not been fixed at all by this patch. Anyone else seen a change?

The problem is that game turns into full comedy above World Class, including CPU spamming twitchy pilotfish turns in the middle of nowhere without any connection to the situation.

After a few games i still can't see any positive or negative change post-patch. Every single slider change is more effective than the whole 8 pages of changelog.
 
I can't stand this game. You'd think with all the money they spent on Hypermotion, IQ system, presentation, they would actually be able to implement a player switch system that's worth a damn. For fucking years I'm trying to get a hold of my CB's that just wonder off into LaLa land so the the attacker has a clear lane to the goal, and rip a shot top corner. But no switch to a player who's not even close. I've tried everything. Still the same.

Something looks off about the players as well. Tall player just look bloated, and every player looks like they have short stubby legs and size 5 feet. I don't get it. I tried LOD mods too. Speaking of mods I'm getting tired of paying for them. I know I'm not being forced too.

Is the best we got in terms of football games? I'd go back to PES, but I'm so burned out on it.

I've been observing this topic more closely since its release and I'm really surprised at how extremely different opinions this game has. Sometimes, when I read the opinions of some players, I want to buy this game, only to read several others that effectively discourage me from buying it. I wonder what's going on with this game?? :)

EA being EA. Felt good at launch then the title updates start to rip it apart. I've always said the best time to play is at launch and the final title update when they seem to revert it to how it was at launch.
 
Something I'm happy about is with this new patch, they've added the option to switch off the secondary press indicator in the options!

I must've been the only person in the world moaning about this so, if you read my comments and added it just for me, thank you good sir.

Though it's unlikely.
 
Serie A is so empty and boring without licenses for Inter and Milan :/ I can't enjoy it. I don't know why, FC24 without Napoli (colours at least were proper) and Roma wasn't so bad.
