"Please note that the patch : - is save game compatible. - does not require you to start a new game, however for the best results it is suggested."

what makes football manager quicker to load?
1/ faster processor
2/ more/faster RAM
3/ more/faster harddisc
 
Thats one thing thats great about FM2005 the speed

i have 6 players here and we have finished a season in 3 days

Technical problems (or if the rumours are to be believed, Eidos shitting themselves after playing FM2005 v5.0.2) have put the release back to early next year.

If i patch my game to 5.02 (Football Manager 2005) and run my game as a server, can my friends without the patch still play on my server? Or do they need the patch too?

Save game utlitity? What do you mean?

Anyways, I'm Palace and I got 3rd in my first season (4-5-1 custom-made tactic).

I find that (unlike previous games) you have to actually adjust and tweak tactics game-by-game (even moreso when you're supposively weaker teams like Palace). Even with teams like Chelsea you can't win by just putting up a 4-4-2 formation and selecting your team!

Yeah balls,I have a tough time too,adjusting tactics for certain teams,I'm into my 25th game in the season now,2nd in the league,7 points behind Arsenal and 5 ahead of Chelsea.A very realistic game in terms of stats.Am I the only person to realise that Chelsea is not as strong as real life?

Yea bro,but its fixed in the game,certain managers have a certain liking for one another,others dont.I'm playing as United's manager and I've always had Wenger and Mourinho throwing stick at me like,how my team is not strong enough,how I wont win it this year and so on.The you got people like O'Leary,Bruce and McLaren praising you on what you have done at your club.If you had kind words thrown at you,ofcourse,you say nice things back about them...then,those managers will be your friends.I recently beat AC Milan in a CL semifinal and Ancelotti praised me for the result and we became best friends.

wow~ cool! i dont think i wanna make rival-ry with all the big teams' manager because i'm only playing as Stoke- just got promoted from the first division. I got Graversen,Pedersen and Djordic for free! i'm planning to buy Scott Carson next season as i do not have enough money

i hope my team will perform well in the epl.. i'm expecting my team to finish in the top 10-- if thats possible :D
 
you can also use this to unsettle players

i slagged off martin jol and kevin keegan so much that wright phillips and ledley king were soon putting in transfer requests and were in my line up.

took a season and a half but i got them both fairly cheaply

I am one of those someones. Can really play this in the middle of class if I have to insert the damn CD. That's a little too conspicuous. And I don't have the space to mount the damn CD until I get around to cleaning up my computer.
