Hmm, I'm feeling pretty pessimistic about the quarter finals against Arse, but all three games this season have been very close, indeed. Maybe if they're not so lucky this time, we can beat them.

Let's not get down hearted playing Arsenal, as the only time Chelsea have beaten Arsenal in recent years have been in the Carling Cup where our kids lost 5-0 :D

Yes, that was your biggest defeat at Highbury for 73 years. We weren't full strength either. We didn't have Desailly, Zola, Wise, Casiraghi, Le saux or Laudrup playing that day. We had players like Duberry  and Goldbaek playing.

What a classic team :)

The Forss May not return :(

Taken From BBC Sport :

Mikael Forssell said he will not return to Chelsea unless he is guaranteed regular first-team football.
Forssell signed a new deal with Chelsea last summer but is currently on a season-long loan at Birmingham, for whom he has scored 16 goals.

"There's still three years left of my contract and I know Claudio Ranieri likes me as a player," said Forssell.

"I have always said that I don't want to go back to Chelsea just to sit on the bench."

The striker added: "If Chelsea decide to play me, then that is a different matter."

I'm hoping he does come back and we get rid of Hassielbaink's lazy arse!

i think this time Chelsea can beat Arsenal ,hope the guys can keep their concentration and determination till the final whistle blown.

I think Duff and Gudjohnsen are playing very well recently and not forget Lampard & Geremi. But the first thing is, let's forget the history. Let's kick Arsenal's ass (tomorrow) tonight!!

I don't like what the club are doing, regarding Ranieri, one bit :x . Their actions of leaving him hanging in the balance is going to effect the players and the club as a direct consequence. I don't like this idea of "we're going to bring in a bigger and better manger" Who? Hitzfeld! I don't want him. Eriksson? No thanks! How the hell is he supposed to plan ahead, when any minute he might be told to pack his bags. Sure the guy tinkers far too much for my liking and that is my only gripe with him. But, other than that, if we can finish 2nd, and get automatic group stage CL football next season, i think it's job done personally. I think the games against Arsenal will play a deciding role. I for one though, want to see this sorted out, and soon.

Close? THey fluked that goal. Oh well, next game Arsenal. Next result : 2:0. :D

No thats not how it works, you score one and then we score 2. If it aint broke don't fix it.

I am one of the biggest chelsea fans, and yet, i cant see us or anybody for that matter beating arsenal! as much as i hate to say it, arsenal are the best team around at the moment. I do hate them so!!!

I really hope so SULPHURIVX! and apparantly ranieri has given up hope on keepin his job and has even told his players that. I hope he stays but on the other hand, i would like to see what a new manager would bring to chelsea (hopefully not too many new players!) we need to get used to each other!! COME ON CHELSEA!!!

Aren't you lot worried about Terry mouthing off to the press all week that they will beat us tonight. JFH was the same. It could very well come back and bite them in the arse!

I think it'll be insanely close, as usual. We'll see who's the luckier team.

I think Duff will create some problems for Arse tonight.:)

Is it just me that feels sorry for Ranieri, he has worked his bollocks off this year and even if he does perform a miracle and win a trophy this year he will still be out on his ear at the end of the season.

It makes no sense at all to me

Rare post by CW there in the CFC thread. No, i feel sorry for him. I posted a page back, about the current state of things, and how it's going to effect the club. I don't think i'm liking this Kenyon bloke much either.

As for tonight's score...... :-k
