Boxing Talk!!

Broner vs Maidana All Access Part 1 7.5/10. Some good background info on both fighters. More-so Broner than Maidana though.

Oh yes!!! shame it wasn't a KO but he took a beating and got knocked on his arse twice! and never really troubled Maidana. Congratulations Maidana for being the one to shut Broner up!

In reality now for Broner he really needs to look at himself at that weight, he just doesn't carry the power to trouble opponents

Also the British Sky Sports bill was a real long one last night, if you don't get to see it all I really recommend Purdy vs Bundu

Broner v Maidana

LOVED IT!!!!!

Great performance by Maidana, stupid tactics by Broner, referee was a complete fucking joke, Broner held/pushed/elbowed the whole night, got about 5 warnings zero point reductions, Maidana did 1 headbutt and was fairly deducted 1 point but only happened because the ref was so weak against Broner's constant fouling.

Just found this one online!

So Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to my fellow boxing fans, I think 2013 was a mostly good year for the sport and hope things continue in 2014! :)

Yep thought it was a really good year for boxing :)) Will try my best to see if I can make Khan/Mayweather possibly when tickets go on sale.

Also Broner getting beat up to close the year was nice :DD

What are everyones fights of the year?, no particular order but these stick out for me

Broner vs Maidana
Froch vs Groves
Bradley vs Provodnikov
Provodnikov vs Alvarado
Jones vs Lebedev

All brilliant if I had to choose one it would probably be Broner vs Maidana

I'll put up my list later. Off to play some fight night champion since I don't go back to work for another week. Yes, I still play this game. Best fighting game ever IMO.

Yep, grabbing Friday's now:

Anyone with a 2014 wishlist? Here's a few I'd like

Froch vs Groves II
Khan vs Brook
Quigg vs Frampton

Mayweather vs Pacquiao (LOL!)
Stevenson vs Kovalev
Garcia vs Provodnikov
Pacquiao vs Bradley II
Ward vs Groves
Martinez vs Golovkin

Last but not least Broner to move down weight because he can't cut it at welterweight to get smashed again vs Matthysse!

Khan vs Broner would be interesting. Definitely would like to see that one. If Khan can still use his blistering speed it would be good to see how opponents like Mayweather and Broner would go about that.

A Bradley vs Maidana contest would be great to see also
