Great game then, managed to get on the scoresheet again too :)

You can see differences in players, some are better than others. Coopz is pretty good I must say. CW is a bit dirty ;)

Cheers for the games guys, was class! Bit crap without any audio coming through during open play :-(

Gonna watch MoTD2 now and might come back on later.

(My best moment was the cross from Bobby Carlos that we scored our 2nd in the Turkish Derby!)

Meh... I tried my best to keep it a clean sheet in the Liverpool Arsenal game by dropping back Cesc to clear balls and using 2nd defender pressure. Damn pks.

CW pisses me off on this setting up his tent in the middle of the park, its nothing personal, you just see the little virtual dude running around in the middle with the tiny little xCw underneath his little legs making the passes and creating the assists, expect some bone crunching tackles next time I see you online Wrighty

Played my first game last night with randoms. As Coopz says, if people dont lock in as a player, its abit bobbins. There was only two on my team who locked in position. I crossed for a goal as Malouda in a 2v1 win Chelsea over Pool. Torres got MOM award, he was subbed and had no shots............. dont know how the COM figured that one out, he wasnt on the pitch when Pool scored.

I think so, and it could've been more :( We had some shocking games. The AI-controlled DC always tried to control the ball instead of passing or clearing it. Which resulted in Coopz tackling him more often than not.

I was loving my right-midfield role :) I think I kept getting RM's with left-foots though because loads of my crosses either didn't have power or skewed off over the crossbar. I did do a couple of decent crosses though, one of which resulted in a goal :) And managed to score two goals. Quite happy with my performance and I'll be happy being a RM again :)

Incididently who was it who was on the mic's last night? Sounded like two Londoners?

LOL... i had a mic (pbb76) and I'm from Essex - though everyone thinks I sound like a cockney... :-(

Really bad that my mic kept going off during open play - anyone else get this? Really need the mic in the Be-A-Pro especially...

Was you on the Mic then Snoop? What it really needs is some indication of who is talking. I kept saying "knock it left", "inside" etc then I realised nobody knows who is talking!

i will sort my mic out soon lads

lastnight, our CPU kept giving the ball away, i still have not figured out how it works, because i am pretty sure we can have an influence on how the cpu passes, as when i press A the cpu passes.

i noticed the other teams cpu was playing it about nicely, think that is where we went wrong

anyways deffo up for some more, that galatasary game was great

will sort a mic out tonight i think

I was on the mic occasionally making passing comments like "nice shot" or "bad cross, sorry" :lmao: I was the Scouser :)

Yea, if the CPU has the ball, you can press A to call for a pass, X to make them shoot and Y to call for a through ball.

Where you are on the pitch dictates how they pass - i.e. if you are next to them, they will roll it to you, if you are in the box, they will cross it etc.

what if there are a few of us calling for the pass at the same time, surely the cpu should make the correct decision or does it just go tits up like lastnight lol

i suppose if we are going to be playing regularly together we need to sort out best positions for our team, and try and stay in that role, then we would have a better balance throughout the team, i notice our players get in eachothers way and are out of position sometimes, this leaves gaps, and we can be exposed - need to be disciplined and stay in the players position, not always easy tho, as i find i can be chasing the ball or watching the other players and find my player wondering off
will be on tonight if you are up for it

I was playing midfield last night,Scored 3 and had two assists.

Haha I wandered off a few times while I was ball watching the defence. I'd be in attack and about 20 yards offside :lmao: Using the tele cam is MUCH better but it can result in losing track of your player while you're watching the general play.

yeah i do that lol..suddenly realise and panic (LEG IT)

i switch between pro and tele, not sure which to go for as both have advantages and disadvantages, i think it also depends what position you play in, as you can find you are off the screen sometimes on tele cam

The MOM system is clearly rubbish (sorry Coopz hehe) but it never seems right to me. It nearly always goes to a forward just because they scored. Kinda like Football Manager giving a player a 6 but when he scores he gets an 8 ... why? The goal doesn't mean his general play was better.

Be A Pro is clearly the future, sooooo much fun and I can't wait for the day we can get a full team (maybe even goalie). Proper leagues with registered players to a registered team.

And, I found this VERY odd, there was NO lag last night! At all. In ANY of the games. Considering ten different people were connected at times, it makes me wonder how the game ran so well but when two people are connected playing a standard XBL match the game becomes laggy and unresponsive? Very strange.

I'm not entirely sure I like the Pro cam because it gets TOO close. If I get the ball on the right wing, the camera zooms right up to me and I can't see people to my left side or behind me. It also feels slightly less responsive and more awkward to turn with the ball.

Think I'm to blame a bit for that - especially with you! We were normally both CM and I was trying to make runs off of you, but 9 times out of 10, ended up running across you and we'd lose the ball.

This isnt intentional - not trying to tackle you!!

Sticking to the position is a good idea and I do try - though one of the games last night - think were a spanish team, we again were both CM and I wasnt sure which player (in real life) did the holding. As I was a number 10 and looked skilfull, I thought I should bomb on - but then you were too at times.

Think its easier with teams you know - i.e. Arsenal, one could sit as Gilberto and one can roam with Fabregas.

This is were the mics come in to play too - to shout when to hold etc.

Anyway, sure we'll all get there!!

I like the BAP cam - at the very least it makes the game feel different to the normal FIFA matches.

But the reason I like it, is the feeling of nerves you get when you get the ball - just like real life.

You really have to be alert to who is around you, how much time you have etc. Its almost as if you have to play 5 seconds in front - almost knowing what you are going to do with the ball once you get it - seeing space open up etc.

The normal cam is a bit more relaxed as you can see everything - but, I'll stick to the BAP cam and have panic attacks!

i wasn't implying you or directing my comment at you mate!

it was an observation that i noticed in general play, it happens and i have done it to other people aswell, doing similar runs as yourself.

the position thing is the most important thing i think, but this has to be done through the team, also the balance on where humans play

but we will get there

will be better when i get a mic then we can communicate, should help a bit.
