Just the way it is. I mill around the box anyway even if I'm not "chosen" because then I can pick up any loose balls. But you're right, if you're not the locked player then you can't do anything.

On the other hand, corners in FIFA 08 are the most effective corners I've experienced. They nearly always look dangerous which is great. PES used to annoy me as the keeper came out nearly all of the time.

I spose it kind've makes sense in a way. As long as you (as a player) are marking someone, then should the ball happen to be aimed at the attacking player you're marking, then you'll have the opportunity to attack the ball and head it away

Seems to me that its kind of random if it works or not. If I connect and it isnt working(teams show up, but the connection show one red line, and there is no players there), I can still hear people talking...so its working for them. I try again, and then it works. Sometimes I have to restart to get it to work, and sometimes nothing helps. Unstable is the word.

Yeah very unstable. I think you need a clean connection to the EA Servers in order for it to work. By this I mean that you can't do anything other than play 5v5 when you sign in to the EA Servers. I think this because when I've been playing random rankers then try 5v5 it don't work, but then a simple console restart, and therefore re-starting the EA Servers, and 5v5 works...? Just a thought :)

i have in the past gone directly on to 5v5 and it hasn't worked

but i might try signing out and back in again to see if it works next time..

still a fking joke!

Hope to be on earlier tonight as I was working till half 8 then watched some TV with the missus to keep the peace!

By the time I got on, everyone was dropping off, so I stuck COD4 on and eventually met up with Becanes gone midnight (nice team-deathmatch against Coopz too :))

Anyway, yea, hope to be on - hope we can make the most of it, cos if SWOS works ok, then that could take over our footie time! PLEASE, PLEASE have multiplayer tournaments! Games at 3 mins each we could finish a world cup in one sitting!

I would have invited you and becanes but the party was full because all my mates were on it
