The CPU is diabolical, I don't see how some of you are comparing it to us lot! I think if we have two average, evenly matched people on any then it will work fine. Although joe didn't like being any, I thought he did well and it made for a fair game. I just cant bear losing because of a ridiculous CPU error, to the point that I don't think I would play if we don't have someone on any. Its a shame, but that's how's poor the AI is in this mode :(

I would probably play as the regular "any" guy, I don't like being one player (just don't like, don't really know why). Best get training ;)

Again, I agree. If we lose a goal because e.g. Tim messes up, then we know it's a human error and a human mistake. To lose a goal/game because of an error a human wouldn't make (dallying with the ball while Coopz runs at them with ease), then that takes a lot of the fun away.

Playing with someone as any makes the game more realistic IMO. Some of the errors made by the CPU in last nights games were just fucking shocking and we shouldnt have to put up with it.

5v5 is good dont get me wrong but with everyone as set players you are just waiting on the cpu fucking up and your oppo scoring due to it. That doesnt make it fun it just makes it fucking annoying

PS Having 1 player as any regardless of how many actual players you have is the future, deal with it people ;)

@ tim, i have not compared anyone of us as "any" to the cpu, i have merley stated people are quick to shoot down the AI and how bad it is, with pure neglect of them even being a factor, which i do believe is part, but obviously not all of the problem

like i said before it is far from perfect and makes some terrible mistakes

atleast if the cpu makes a mistake, i can slag the cpu off something rotten, but i wouldn't want to do it to my mates lol

seriously tho, i wouldn't mind playing as any or as cpu (cpu with 3 players, no thanks tho)

but like i said, i am game for either

@ becanes, maybe we can get 5 lads together who wants to try and see if we can get the cpu to behave and try and play it against them who have any and see how bad it really is..

but we would obviously need to work on utilizin the cpu properly, which will never be done if we keep playing as any

now who's with me hahahaha

guys lets just all be friends and agree that the AI is fucking awful. Nobody human makes the same bad mistakes the defence does. They are dumb. Attacking AI is much better though :)

Anyone on after the match tonight?

I think it really depends on who's controlling "any." I was playing a game earlier, and we conceded twice in the first 5 minutes and they were all over us for the majority of the half, but as soon as our "any" quit, we were playing far better. I think it's just a case of if the "any" can't defend and/or doesn't pass, then they are more useless than the CPU.

:lol: The CPU makes waaaaaaay to many mistakes for a start, it just seriously can't defend. They never slide tackle, they never clear the ball and they can't pass! Hang on - I've been watching Joe again :D ;)

The CPU doesn't just make mistakes though, it just doesn't tackle people, like you can just run in a straight line past it and it won't try and tackle you, just maybe put a bit of pressure on you, but one flick of the right analogue and your away from it.

There are times when I just want the CPU to dive in and wanker someone but all they do is jostle for the ball and let the oppo player run as far as they want. This never happens when a human is controlling any (especially when I am that any :))

5 vs 5 with the CPU is ok but any less than that and its a bit of a shambles

I have found out how to get around the single red dot issue

Load Fifa up and try creating a BAP game and see if its works if it dont pull the network cable out of ur 360 (while you fifa is still on) then put in back in and sign back into live and Fifa will log you onto the servers again

keep doing this and eventually it will come on, i did it twice to get mine working,

Bitter has suggested just signing out of live and signing back in but thats untested :)
