Playing central defence was well hard for me. I kept getting temptations to charge up the field! And trying to mark a striker was hard because they thread the ball in between the full back and centre back. Not my cup of tea, I'll leave defence to Bitter who already does a magnificent job :applause:

Oh, girlfriend wants to stay at home and watch TV tonight, I'll probably be online at 9pm as usual then :)

Yeah, it looked kinda difficult to play CB. That's why I would go for the sides, then you can join in on the attack at the proper times.

I'm the same, getting up in the morning shattered! I usually go to bed between 10pm and 10:30pm but I've been finishing 5v5 about 11pm and actually getting to sleep around 11:30pm!

I'm not giving it up though, enjoying 5v5 too much :)

Anyone else having problems only hearing certain people? I can hear a few people fine (not sure who they are but they're all English ... PB, Coopz and Bitter I think) but in the lobby I just hear someone laughing, then silence and then laughing again. Someone is cracking jokes and I'm jealous I can't laugh too :( Hehe really though, it is odd that people can hear others and I can't. Using a brand new Elite microphone too. I definately can't hear Becanes.

Well I'm definitely not sure who I am hearing, but I believe I can hear everyone that has a mic. You English all sound alike. Just kidding. I think I can tell CW's voice and Jay's voice. Maybe Coopz. It's weird that you can hear the other team sometimes too while you are playing. We need to have a voice roll call tonight.

You'd know if you heard me, I'm the only Scouser there :) You're right about people all sounding the same, I can't tell who it is talking when they do. I think Bitter has a deeper and older sounding voice than Paul though.

Go and look on the PS3 thread about them setting up a 5vs5 - apparently you can have 10 on one side!!!!


this is what he said

I couldnt hear becanes the first game but it sorted itself out after. Never heard Snoop all night dunno if thats him not talking or an XBL problem

Why dont we try using the whole back 4 :)

I have a tip as well for defending and its pretty vital tbh, holing down the jostle button most of the time makes you player more manoeuvrable, intead of your player turning backwards and forwards and stepping past the attacker he always faces forward and never steps ahead of the attacker

if you have defended you will know what i mean by stepping foward at pace

it is a brilliant game, but i am even worse at this game than i am at fifa, so be warned lol

p.s you will hear some proper foul language on this game when i'm playing, it might make your ears bleed

Yea, I'd be up for some COD4 with you guys for sure.

I've never been a great FPS fan, but I am addicted to COD4. I was having a quick go last night - its the level when you go back 15 years and have to creep around in the strange bear costumes (!?) - anyway, was playing it and thought out loud "this is the best level of a video game I've ever played!".

The graphics in COD on the whole are superb, but that level alone at times was breathtakingly realistic - was very impressed...

Anyway... YES to COD4 - hows about PGR4/Forza too?

We might need to stick to one game at a time (atleast when I'm on, hehe). I was playing COD4 to death then I started playing 5 v 5 mode in Fifa with you guys, and now I ignore all of my COD4 game invites. My friends are probably getting pissed at me.
