BF:BC2 is very similar to Modern Warfare 2 - the online mode is about 99% of the experience. Bear in mind that the single player is quite short and there's not a huge amount of replay value, so probably best to rent the game for a few days if you're not going online with it.
 
As good as the game is, i think this add-on looks to be a bit "bare-bones" judging by the answers the rep is giving on one of the Vietnam videos.

It's just basically 4 more maps with the weapons and vehicles having a Vietnam theme.

I would have hoped for new classes or modes to bolster it a bit.

Still, my mates and i are all Battlefield mugs at the moment so we'll lap this up.

Before that i'd hope the planned patch for the C4ing or mining M-Com stations comes out, they've tweeted there'll be a balance change to ensure M-Coms take less damage from explosives in general so RUSH mode isn't just about having a team set-up around dropping mines and C4 around the stations.

I didn't know they finally acknowledged it, finally!

I crept up on one of those type today, I could have knifed him/her or used my gun but C4 to the back of the head is somewhat satisfying.
 
I've been kicked from a lot from games in recent days and every time the connection has been lost with the game server.

Is this happening to anyone else?

I've had it a few times on 360. Not excessive, mind, only about 4 games in total over about 600+

It is annoying, though.

It needs to changed so that C4 has no affect on M-Coms. Just played a game of rush now and it was ruined by people spamming C4.
 
This game is arguably one of the best I've ever played.

Just can't get enough of it. It's fantastically addictive. So, so many days of play.
 
Does anyone know if the Ultimate Edition will work with the Limited Edition game save?
 
I'm not after the extra content, I've unlocked all the kits etc and I bought 1943 when it was originally released.

I'm still getting disconnects so I'm thinking of trading in my LE, getting the UE and seeing if that makes a difference.

The news was dropped by Easy, the lot behind Battlfield Heroes, and its GM Ben Cousins.

Cousins was keen to stress the game was not – repeat, not – Battlefield 3, however.

“Flying to London later today to show a new, unannounced #Battlefield game to the press. News goes public on Friday. (NOT #BF3)“

Whatever it is, it’s not going to be called Battlefield Assault anyways.

“Just to confirm – I am NOT going to London to announce any game called ‘Battlefield Assault’. That is just a URL EA picked up.”

And if you think it’s going to be a console port of Heroes, wrong again. Cousins says the title is “completely new.”

So there. It’s not Battlefield 3 – it’s reveal will come shortly, it seems – but a new Battlefield it is.

Lol. Bring on Battlefield 3. Hopefully it will be more like Battlefield 2 (jets, big maps, 64 players) with the graphics, audio and destructibility of Bad Company.

Resistance 2 had no problems with 60 players, MAG has 256 players.
 
just quick question, whats worth buying and playing for say the next few months, battefield bad company 2 or medal of honour?
