It happened later on the lighhouse map as well didn't it. I remember we had about 5 of us all firing rockets at the chopper as it flew around and around at the lighthouse area. It's was frigging ridiculous because I've been in a chopper on there and it's stupidly hard to avoid being shot down. But this guy just flew around us taking the piss.

I have the rocket launcher where you can guide it - but the piece of shit rocket loses interest after about 5 seconds of tracking a chopper. When you fire it across the map at a tank you can have the rocket dancing around - but in the air it gets to a certain height and then just gives up and zips off somewhere.

At least we won on that map though because they had 4 guys in the chopper cutting down the numbers we had to deal with on the ground.
 
That RPG you mention is only useful on the ground, the one above it in the list is better, that one can lock on to tracer darts. I think its called Gustav.
 
Yeah but hardly anyone can get a tracer onto a chopper so I thought using the guided launcher might work best so I can at least aim at the chopper a bit more then firing and hoping it hits it. I've taken a few choppers down with the guided one, I took 2 down last night, but when the chopper is flying around at full speed it doesn't move fast enough.
 
Still waiting for my rental copy to be allocated from Tesco. Hopefully get allocated today!
Not buying another FPS game so will be miles behind when I start playing this.

Finished the single campaign and it was very enjoying and satisfying. My 9 year old son sitting alongside me also enjoyed it. Multiplayer however, wasn't that enjoying. I just don't get they same satisfaction as I do with Modern Warfare online. Team deathmatch in modern warfare is more fun and mechanics are more realistic for me. It's back to modern warfare online for me. I will take this one back for GOW.
 
You always get a bonus for saving a squad made, so try following them.
And give health pack to every guy you see. Easy points.

If you do that, and give a couple orders, and kill some guys, you should get at least 1500 pts each time as a medic.
 
Bumped into more morons today. When defending everyone runs out of the base to attempt to spawn kill the attackers. Points A and B are left... attackers destroy them in seconds and wipe the floor with me... rinse and repeat. then when we get to attack - everyone and their wives pick Recon and all sit ON THE SAME FRIGGING HILL sniping. 1 mortar strike or tank shell and all of them are killed.... AND THEN THEY ALL GO RIGHT BACK TO THE SAME SPOT!

Stupid F'n noobs.
 
hahaha, i've had a game like that, but i was on the other time to the noobs. there were about 6 of them all on the same hill top, so i changed to recon found a good spot and just waited for them to respawn and go straight back to that spot, i got some pins for it too.

I had a go of this last night. Apart from being a sniper I had no idea what I was doing. It was on a snowy map at night time, if I went anything other than a sniper I just died as soon as I got near the objective.

Any tips on how to play this game would be great :)

I started the single player and it looks and playes great.
 
I posted it a few pages ago but that was before the games release - definitely worth another post for those buying the full game.
 
I've tried to download the patch twice but it resets my PS3 after a few seconds, anyone on PS3 successfully downloaded the patch?
 
I've done it now, the syncing trophies screen was causing the problem.
 
I got this yesterday and still apart form shooting fuckers, I don't know what the hell I'm doing half the time.

How the hell do you fly a copter too?
 
R2 to climb, L2 to fall and LB for the weapons, use both stick to move.

once you get used to it you'll be flying round transporting people and blowing shit up, i really like the choppers.

yesterday we had a black hawk fully laden with people fly over the m-com sites and everyone parachute out, looked brilliant
