Fantastic match by both teams and specially by Arshavin all by himself!

However, awful defending by Arsenal :(
I knew it was a bad idea to use Sagna! It was his worst match ever... I mean, it was shocking. Could it be the virus?? If so, keep the bastard in QUARANTINE.
Wenger should've kept Eboué, who was quite decent as RB.

I am happy for Arsha, but much of it was ruined for me... I feel bad about the way Arsenal gave away the last goal. It was injury time, come on! Any team would have 10 men at the back in a situation like that, but not Arsenal. They were too naive and sheepish. I mean, when you have the lead at that point is Game Over! It is 10 men in the back, fouls, delay the game, yellow cards, whatever! Kick even your mother if she touches the ball, for crying out loud! Not even bloody Sunderland would have given it away like that.

Now we gotta hold on with this crappy defense and our Sunday League keeper, wait for the injured to return against United and hope for the best.
 
Gutted.

Superb game for Arsh - only he Walcott and Gibbs can hold their heads up - rest of the team was dire.

Don't get me started on the centre backs - fucking conference sides would have tore us to shreds.
 
fabianski was terrible, a better keeper would have easily saved two of those goals. he ran straight into the net for benayouns first goal which he could have caught with one hand if he wasnt so spastic and already over the line when the ball was going towards goal. he could've gotten a stronger hand to torres' shot as well, it was almost in the middle of the net.
 
Great game but im so shocked at how bad your defence is. You lot can't defend to save your lives! 93rd minute and you only neeed to hold out for another 2? Glad Arshavin won't play in the CL, Will all the big names be back for the United game then?
 
5 minutes of stoppage time? and then they had the cheek to play nearly 7, Can't really think of too many stoppages in the second half.

Beni on the floor after the goal, 6 subs which equals 3 minutes, but make it 2,5 as Reira went off straight away and then the other 2 were for the celebarations of the two goals scored in the last minutes.

Does anyone else think the Reira sub should be the new standard? Doesnt matter where you are on the pitch, if youre subbed you go off at the nearest touchline. We should do that for all the matches really, although having stands close to the pitch could hinder that with fans abusing players. But its worth it to keep the game going :D

It is our make shift defence that is bad. Silvestre just seems to weaken our team at the back for some reason.

Our first choice back four had only let in a couple of goals in the league since January (Thats what I heard - haven't checked if it is actually true yet) - So If we get at least Djouru back, then hopefully we will start getting a bit better. Silvestre is the weakest link......

Sagna just came back from an Illness and is ALOT better than the way he played yesterday. So Hopefully he is 100% by next wednesday.
 
There is a reason Utd let Silvestre go and that is because he is shit!!

Bobby, can't believe you missed the game mate, it was one of the best games I have EVER seen!

I was at my parents house visiting them. I thought we would get beaten and I really don't like to see us get beaten, especially by Liverpool. So I thought I would miss it.

I followed it though on the BBC website - but it is no substitute for watching it :((
 
Nice game there lads, 4-4, we just cannot defend properly,that is the only thing that lets us down, and cost us the draw. Attacking is not a problem.

4 ATTEMPTS 4 ON TARGET 4 GOALS= Arshavin = WORLD CLASS !!!

Just watched the highlights again and I still haven't got over it. Arshavin deserved the win.

Can someone tell me WTF was Fabianski doing INSIDE the goal when they scored 2-1?
 
C'mon guys, it's over.

Boro on Sunday, and I'll take even a half-0 win against them. I guess the boss should rest Cesc, he looked awful since Wembley. Sagna, Ade and RvP too. I hope Eduardo plays and Arshavin destroys it!

Problem lies in Wenger playing Fabregas as a AMF in the hole, when he clearly is a CMF playmaker - Xavi/iniesta style.
 
I would love to see Bendtner and Arshavin up front
against Boro, again. Does anyone know why Wilshere
was not in the profi squad anymore?

But Djourou, Almunia, Adebayor all will be back already against Boro.

Come on Arsene, give Eduardo a chance in CL, it could be the
match of his life, I don't want to see Bendtner and Ade up
front and I didn't like how we played in 4-2-3-1.
