So Gooner's were still 6 hours away but how do you lot think you'll line up? Wenger's been playing Cesc behind the CF lately which I don't understand to be fair. Is that to add more cover for the defence?

Gallas and Clichy are still out aren't they? If so then thats a big blow for you lot. Should be a good game hopefully both teams play at their best :))

If I were you I'd totally play Silly. He always makes one massive mistake per game, but as this OT he's likely to get confused and it'll hurt United. Send him up on corners, and he'll likely get an 'own' goal off the back of his head ;)

Hoping for a good match after the dross last night, but fingers crossed for a good United win. I think Arsenal will be quite defensive, personally, and look to break on the counter. Could work well depending on whether or not Rio is in fast or maybe-still-injured-inexplicably-slow mode.

Can someone explain why Wenger insists on Diaby? Having to watch him throughout the whole 90 minutes and a little bit of Bendtner in the end is just too much... even for me!

What can I say, well deserved win from United and it could've been much more. Almunia was our best player today hands down.

And the refs performed just great. Ronaldo deserved a yellow for all the diving though...

Gibbs did well if not as good as Clichy imo
 
Am I the only one who watches Arsenal and is hugely frustrated that instead of shooting when there is a chance they pass it another 52 times before having a pop?

can be a good factor in the second leg because his know-how.

Could somebody explain me why Nasri played in front of our
defence and not Diaby even if I can't call it playing what
Diaby did.

We didn't get so much chances if we played in 4-5-1,
so hopefully Wenger come back to 4-4-2 with RVP
and Ade up front.

Wenger got it wrong - again! His tactics completely baffle me. Diaby can't run, pass, or shoot for shit. Fuck off you cunt. Nasri DMF? WTF? At least he can run!

Here's hoping for a second leg turnaround, but there was only one team who wanted it, and it wasn't us.
 
The thing is we're stuck with Diaby. For some reason beyond me Wenger thinks hes a genius. But he's shite in everything. Not even headers he's good at! For all he has done I'd settle even for Denilson.

Another thing that comes to my mind is why Wenger didn't play Eboué? When the man finally decided to play some good football this season we see him getting benched like this... It's so fucking frustrating!

We can still pull this off, but something tells me that not scoring an away goal will make a huge diference.
 
Can't believe Walcott was taken off for Bendtner?! should have been Diaby! really wenger has got something with Diaby, I reckon he is his secret love child or something.

He should have bought off Diaby for Bendtner and Adebayor for Eduardo long before he did.

Adebayor had a nothing game again and knows he doesn't need to play well in any games because a team will buy him in the summer anyway. the worst thing we did was to keep him in the summer and pay him what he demanded. It has made him a selfish unmotivated player!!

Our defending up until their goal was atrocious, I mean exceptionally bad!! but we got back into the game after that and passed it around well, if only we could find a decent chance?! have a few more shots at goal for gods sake!!

I think overall United deserved it, they had better chances. But it was by no means a walk in the park for them and we had our spells where united couldn't get near the ball.

1-0 is not the worst result. We are more than capable of getting over 2 at Emirates - just I also think Man U are more than capable of scoring against us there aswell. If they get that away goal then I reckon we are fucked!

But lets wait and see - it could be worse :DD lets hope Van persie is back and Wenger gives up on Diaby and plays Eduardo up front aswell instead of Adebayor to start off with.

I wouldn't say 'Same old Arsenal' if we were that scared all of the time, we wouldn't be in the Semis of the Champions league and we wouldn't be unbeaten against the top 3 teams in the prem so far in the league?

I admit it was rubbish - but I think that is more to do with players like Adeboyor and Diaby not looking like they give a shit and also from last night a little to do with the formation Wenger put out. Also the fact we only had 50% of our defence there.

Once we get rid of Adebayor and get really good hungry players like Arshavin in - I think we will be fine :DD
