Adeboyor was shocking I'm amazed the physio didn't run on and try to give him CPR...

He was really bad! Vidic and Ferdinand are great together - but he did not even trouble them! In the Daily mirror they gave him a 3 rating. I'm not saying the Daily mirror are great, but I have never seen a player get 3 before! but it wasn't that shocking, because it is fucking true!

He got the arsehole in the summer saying he should get more money etc now he has got it, its like he has no motivation. He knows a top team will buy him in the summer and his wages will grow, the only people suffering for him being a lazy twat, is us. We will get half the money for him now and we will lose matches like last night, because he doesn't give a shit!

Eduardo and Silvestre are both out for Portsmouth match, hopefully
Djourou plays and going to play himself into the first eleven
for second CL leg.

I'm really shocked how often Eduardo is injured, every time he plays
only some minutes and is injured for some weeks again.

Arsenals "way" is really scarying me.. you ALWAYS have some1 injured, you never have a full squad for at least one match. I think that should be asked Wenger, where does he think that this comes from? Players are ALL injury prone? bad training? bad management? bad luck? cursed arsenal?
Just hope (again) that next season its a better season for Arsenal, i root for you in the EPL! =]

i think eduardo should rest for the whole season and come back fresh and strong next year

I think that was to be expected, for a player that spent almost a year inactive. We can't really count on him this season.

If Eduardo is having such difficulties, can you imagine how its gonna be for Rosicky? :(

Theres a saying " If you cant stop Arsenal, Kick Arsenal!!"

Wenger will have to teach Rosicky how to kick a ball for 3 months and then teach him that he needs to let go his crutches while playing. Then when season 2010/2011 starts Rosicky will be fit and you win the EPL. :BOP:

Re: Arshavin saying it wasn't a penalty - am I the only who thought he figured the ref was pointing for a goal kick and was arguing it was a corner, not saying it wasn't a pen? Surely if he was trying to be sporting, he would have taken it and missed?

Not your lots fault, but I love that you have almost an identical situation to United's pen last week, but we'll never hear about it again, whereas even in today's match ethey're STILL talking about it.

Kind of the same, the difference being that you were 2-0 down whereas we were already winning and had one clear-cut and one possible pen turned down already. F*cked up that they decided to give the pen which clearly wasn't, but that's football I guess. Shouldn't be that way but until video tech comes in it's always going to be a talking point.

For the record, I don't think anyone in their right mind (or outside of WHL or Anfield at least) would think that if Utd hadn't got that pen that they wouldn't have gone on and won anyway. The media are always going to champion the cause of the plucky underdog though, especially when they're playing the champions incumbent. It's just a better story, isn't it? ;)

My mate a Gooner has heard Fab is on his way this Summer, anyone heard anything like that, I would have thought it would be all over here by now if it were public knowledge...

If you believe Real Madrid/Barcelona or any of the Spanish papers, Fabregas will be leaving in the summer. If you believed them then he would have gone 2 seasons ago.

We will probably have these rumours all through the summer - it always happens.

I am not ruling it out - but I will only start worrying when I hear Fabregas sound unsure.

At the moment whenever he has been asked he has said all the right things and there is no hint he will be leaving soon. He has always said in the future he will move back to Spain, butwe still don't know when.

But we have got into the Champions league (Qualifiers) and we are in the semi-final now. Hopefully we get through.

I think it all depends on how well he thinks the club will do next year. If he thinks we are going to be successful, then he will stay. As he is our captain and he could be the captain of a potentially great side.

I really hope he doesn't as I think we are so close to having a great team, if he went it will be about 100 steps backwards!!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed :DD

No chance, just no chance today. Two bloody unlucky goals in the
first 11 minutes, who blames for them that they were down after that.
I'm still proud what the Gunners have reached in the CL this year.

yea im deeply sad at the manner we have lost tonight. very unluckly cruel 2 goals that simply destroyed the players confidence. i dont think there is a single team out there who could have bounced back from a similar situation to us.

really awful. thats our season over.

What can make us win it? keeping our current players and adding experienced players like ashavin in our side. i think ashavin has been our best player this season to be honest and that says a lot about our team really.

ahh well.

true but tbh it could of been 4-0 to us before the 2nd leg ahd even kicked off, Almunia was amazing in the 1st leg, unlucky Arsenal, your time will come in the champs league

This is the most Painful moment in my life today!!! I dont think i can ever forget this!!! It like getting stabbed or hammered again and again...

you should of heard me in here after the CL Final `06...that was a heartbreaking moment, this isn`t nearly as bad. We had no depth tbf I mean gibbs is a reserve player which I do like ,but utd was too much to handle on the night.

We know that feeling as well, you know.

Milan '07...

I think your players will take a lot away from this experience of reaching the semis.

I am getting excited about wednesday!

Just reading some bits and bobs about it - I am getting little footballing butterflies in my tummy!

I think we can get a result at old trafford - Get a couple of away goals ;)) :DD

COME ON ARSENAL!!!!

Good luck on Wednesday :)

I think the Arsenal players think the match is on Wednesday too.

Apparently the police had to evacuate part of the ground due to a piece of unwanted baggage. They have now confirmed that it was Adebayor and it was nothing to worry about.

Agreed It felt like that. two early goals which killed the game and then Ronaldo's 2nd was reminiscent of Gilardino's goal.

Unlucky but I think we were always in control. You need more quality lads.
