It was the injustice mate...Arbeloa made a meal of it then suddenly we were just booing every touch by a Liverpool player! Great stuff! Seemed to unsettle you for a bit.

On that showing Liverpool will be nowhere near the top of the league come the end of the season...thought they were distinctly average tbh.

Arshavin should be a pretty good player for you, but you definately need a holding player now that you've pretty much lost Cesc for the season.

I saw in a newspaper or something that Arshavin would leave Zenit for 20M, but then again the Zenit president replied that if he left he wouldn't play football again. =/

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed he intends to bolster his side in the January transfer window.

The Gunners currently sit fourth in the Premier League table after a disappointing start to the season.

Zenit St Petersburg star Andrei Arshavin has been mooted as a target, but Wenger has refused to divulge the names of his potential recruitments.

"I don't need to announce a name," Wenger said with a smile when asked by the French television channel Canal Plus about Arshavin.

"Because when you do that there is 50 per cent less chance of making the signing. But I need a creative midfielder and eventually another midfielder, because we are short."

Not sure Arseheaven is the answer. I'm sure if he was that good, he'd be in Italy or Spain by now. They seem to be trying hard to cash in on him.
You should get Marcus Senna for a couple of years.
 
Gotta agree mate - though i also think this over 30 rule needs a rethink too - not like we have any players that age though.
