Arsenal Thread

I don't blame him if he goes if we don't win anything. Its sad but true.

I think we are half a team without him - so we need to start bedding in players to play without him.

If he is talking like that - then there is every reason to think he will leave next summer. I personally think he will go if we win or don't win something.

But we need to do everything to keep him. Lets give him the captaincy I say. That might be a bit more incentive.

I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Well, when he came back into the team, and we started playing better, it was fucking sad to see one man can make that much of a difference.

I think our midfield is really poor this season, especially in the middle next to fab. Wenger in my eyes, and i love the prof, really missed out on a combatative midfielder.

The four musketeers from last season where the perfect blend:

Rosicky-----------Fabregas---- Hleb
----------Flamini

This season is poor in comparison..

Nasri-------Fabregas-----Eboue----Denilson

I think i'm being harsh on Nasri, as i think he shows flashes of becoming a great player, and Walcott has been quite a good player the last couple of games, yet, there is no bite in the middle, no matter how dirty a cunt Eboue is. I'm hoping Diaby plays in the middle and becomes the player Wenger believes he can, but i really do think we're missing at least 1 more world class player in the middle. Denilson really fails to impress me - i try really hard to like him, but i can't. His game vs West Brom was bloody awful.

Some silverware, and a decent 2 players in Jan should leave us in good stead. But 4 years with no trophies will really test any players resolve. I hope Fab for one is not turned by this, yet, you cannot expect players not to have their own ambitions when playing football. For christs sake, the guy just won the Euro with Spain. A faltering attack on 4 fronts would be enough to dampen any aspirations.

Arsenal remind me of PES, Great a few years ago but havnt shown enough ambition in recent years and have stood still while the competitors have improved :))

If Fabregas leaves, then even Adebayor and Van Persie might leave. and then we would have to wait for another few years for some Arsenal kids to become as good and experienced as these guys and that would surely take some more years. I have a bad feeling about Arsenal's future.

Maybe this season is our crucial season as it might decide our future. And beginning of this season hasnt been good. Wenger has to really really do something. Enough with the kid policies for now atleast i guess.

Van Persie has the potential to be one of the world best IMO, Shame injuries so far have restricted him any sort of run of games. If given one full season fit he would be your main player.

when i heard abt gallas' injury i went: :BOP: not that i'm happy for his pain, but maybe we'll finally try something else.
the problem with gallas is that he's too short for a CB. simple as that.

but RVP got injuried?!? again?!?

what a double crossing cunt!!! wtf is his problem? is this barcelona's transfer policy? i thought he was a player not a scout. he should be grateful towards the club that made him big.
un fucking believable!!!

it's not like he's been raped in London.

Yaya Toure should come to Arsenal. I guess some serious talks are going on about it. But even Juventus are interested in him. And Barca in Alonso. So if Alonso goes then Toure hopefully should come to Arsenal. Hes the right man to play DMF. Loads of Experience, Same style of playing, Tall(which has been a problem for us) and most of all he'll play with his Bro..:)

wow, injuries injuries - our squad is going to be tested now.

No Gallas (maybe that's a good thing :) ), Sagna (:() and Bendtner for tomorrow and for the Champions League trip to Turkey in midweek. Johann Djourou is recovering from concussion, so we'll probably see:

-------------Droopy

Eboue---Silvestre---Toure---Clichy

Cesc has broken his nose but is likely to play (give him the captaincy!)while Robin van Persie faces a fitness test over a muscular problem.

However.....amazingly... Abou Diaby is fit again. Hopefully he can stay fit and take his chance if he's given it.

Walcott ---- Fab ---- Diaby ---- Nasri

With the way our young Welsh dynamo played the other day, i think it'd be great to give him a chance to impress.

-------------Ramsey
----------Adebayor-----

However, i believe Wenger may go as below...

-------------Droopy

Eboue---Silvestre---Toure---Clichy

Walcott ---- Fab ---- Diaby/Ramsey ---- Vela

-------------Nasri
----------Adebayor-----

in romania, we have a saying: "nu iese fum fara foc" = there's no smoke without fire.
and lately it's been a lot of smoke.
i am now convinced: you can't make a big team just by growing youth, you have to bring already big/ quaelity players to the team. or else you will always be almost there, close, but yet far away.
if we were a small bugget team, i'd understand, but since we're not, i can't understand the lack of investments in the team...

good comeback guys!! but what happened in the first half where was the intensity that was shown in the second half?? but good show!!

its all too overwhelming we`re either hot or cold...just missing 1 or 2 ingredients. I feel like a chemistry class everything starts w/ a base. Apprenticeship is a system of training a new generation of practitioners of skill (wikipedia)
