Arsenal Thread

Oh Dear... Cazorla still can't find the back of the net how many shots (0pen) has this been for the last (3) matches. I know something was wrong when ramsey took the free kick . I hope they wake up it was embarrassing.

We only have 2 matches left Dortmund- Gala .

Podolski should start instead of Cazorla imo. He looked very sharp in the few minutes he had, especially against Burnley. Those Cazorla chances in the last weeks could easily be 5-6 goals if Pod hammers them.

In all honesty, those two matches against Anderlecht were a disgrace.

At the moment Anderlecht is going through a transition, they have lots of very young players.

On top of that, the two players who coach on the field (Nuytinck and Defour were out injured) and when CB Mbemba had to come off injured, he was replaced by Den Doncker who is an AMF....

The other young replacement, Kawaya has played a few games coming on as a sub, but he never started a game as yet (and he hasn't have more games as a sub than 10, perhaps not even 5...it was the first time i saw him...he was great by the way).

Mitrovic, the FW who scored the late equaliser is seen as a major talent, but is currently the laughing stock of the Jupiler League, because he is way too heavy and can't control a ball to save his life....

Yet Arsenal gave away a 3 goal lead at home and was totally dominated (the second half) in Brussels....

Did the current Spurs squad plauyed for Arsenal in those matches ?

The disgraceful act that occurred was :
1. Players 'all' wanted to get on the scoresheet (after leading 3 nil ..wtf left food for the bears) no protection!!!!
2. Wenger sub the wrong players and did little to impact the next storm of 6 players trying to attack.
3. The biggest n by far the worst disrespectful was Wenger not shaking a young managers hand for his efforts. Then praise their team afterwards .

I'm done w/ Wanger!! Done! You either lead by example or move a side and let another person do it.
Ramsey played for himself
Cazorla played when he needed to rest.
Flamini is too weak and looks out of dept .
Monreal good crosser on the ball , but lack strength and awareness in the CB position ( not his doing its fuctards)
Rant completely over ... Going for a jog .

That Van den Bore goal wouldn't have stood in the five-a-side we play around the corner. Until when we have to cope with those useless twats UEFA have been foisting upon us as referees?

This isn't anything new to Arsenal of course, cause every year there's something against us in the CL.

That doesn't mean it wasn't Arsenal's own fault too. Given how badly we can fuck things up, even if the offside goal didn't count I'm sure our defense would have found a way to concede the equaliser some other way.

I just don't get Wenger anymore - for a long long time I have not. Firstly the ill judged decision to go into the season with 6 defenders. Well he's reaping what he sowed, isn't he?

But that aside, think of the players he does have available: I can't for the life of me understand how he's playing Monreal as Centre Half. Not when you have Chambers available. The obvious thing would be to pair him with the BFG and use Gibbs and Monreal on the flanks. Even if Monreal has to play all bent and with his wrong foot on the right, it is the role he is made for.

Monreal as CB is the newest in his long line of barmy decisions. It's inexcusable really. Season after season we have more and more of a case against Wenger's stay at the helm. The man's just too stubborn for his own good.

Having said that, there's no way in hell I can follow jonney's logic here. That's crazy!
It stems from desperation and anger I think.

Im frustrated w/ Arsene and his bad attitude. Almost like he`s not to blame THEY ARE! Refs,Coaches,Media etc. I would love to see him get on pitch side and bark orders ( stay back, defend, keep calm and close them down on your half.)

All he does nowadays is gets up yell at the 4th official and try to bully. Then sits down and Im not being harsh. We can`t sack a manager until the season is over. I don`t think he`s too stubborn to change ,just arrogant.

I would rather be a Wenger supporter than a supporter that wishes that their club never won a trophy and pisses and moans all of the time about the team, that is just silly imo.

The irony is that Arsenal lost precious points against a team that uses a philosophy he must like: using young homegrown talents on a shoestring budget...

I would rather see us lose matches then win by sheer luck papering over the cracks as we have done in the last 10 years. Drastic measures need to happen for Drastic changes to occur

I would never want my team to lose.....just shows how different we are :-)

I'm getting tired of this crap. I still support Wenger but it is al his fault we're in this predicament. Monreal as a central defender is ridiculous, and it showed again. Alexis almost saved us again, but it can't be like that every week. Swansea are a good team, but with a normal defensive pairing we would've atleast gotten a draw today.

Now just waiting for the international break to give us more injuries. :)

1-0 up with 15 mins to go away from home
