why wuldnt he come to us? his philoshy is same as arsenal. a pefect candidate to replace wenger in a years time.

When i suggested Pep as a replacement for wenger, people laughed at me saying he will never leave barca. his now left lol. no more excuses.

His Philosophy is the same as Wengers not arsenal.

Also Arsenal become less and less attractive with how some of our supporters represent our club. I can't see why any top manager or player for that matter would want to come to a team where the fans are so fickle and stupid. The abuse Ramsey is getting at the moment is fucking ridiculous add him to the list of Wenger, Walcott, Eboue and others to that list. If I didn't support Arsenal, they wouldn't be my first choice to come and manage/play for.

When Pep is back on the market, there will be clubs that will pay him twice as much as us that will supply him with 5times the amount of transfer funds than we can and ask him to build a team that matches his philosphy. So it doesn't matter if our playing style was similar to Barcelonas that style of play can be replicated anywhere.

I'm not saying it won't happen, but if he wants more of a challenge, then Arsenal will be good for him. But I would imagine he will go to somewhere else.

Plus I want Wenger to stay :DD

Blooming wenger fanboy lol

Wenger would make an excellent chairman....he knows the footy, business end and what it takes to earn a pence. Let's bring someone willing to work under Wenger and make Arsenal great again.

I still think Wenger has alot to offer Arsenal as the manager, but in years to come it would be great if when he isn't the manager he takes another role at the club.

I don't think that's a good idea, a bit like past great managers isn't it best they totally leave the club instead of acting as a ghost to the manager who has to live up to their billing.

So it ended a 1-1 draw at Stoke. Mixed feelings about this one. We didn't play that well but still managed to create some really good chances. RvP's goal came from an excellent Rosicky cross and Sagna has been fantastic too, 2 perfect crosses that we almost score from. One was a RvP header saved by Begovic and the other was Gervinho with a clear header but he couldn't put that gigantic forehead to use.

Am I the only one who's very frustrated with Gervinho's first season? It seems there's no end product ever to his plays and he wastes a lot of chances.

Well, this draw is not so bad as it leaves us 4 points clear of Newcastle, who got hammered 4-0 by Wigan!

Out of the 3 remaining games, away to Stoke was the hardest, but we still need to be at our best to avoid any upsetting end to the season. Some say we will grab all 6 remaining points, but depends on the attitude and performance. Norwich at home is a must win, while West Brom at the Hawthorns is winnable, but can be tricky and nervy in case we badly need the result.

If Newcastle win their game in hand and Tottenham win their 2 games in hand they are both only a point away, so we definately need to win the last 2 to make sure of 3rd.

Wow... Doing it early so that twitter bloke was spot on in february.he also said basel shari is munich bound too.

Lets get all the signing wrapped up in May .

Don't think so.
Hazard will go to either United or City.
Spurs and Arsenal wouild want to sign him, but the 40 million euros Lille ask are too much for both London clubs.
I'm a big Hazard fan and i would have preferred him in London (and to be honest Arsenal would be best for him...).

Jesus Christ, 1 day without internet and when I comeback I see:

- Clippers pulling a major comeback against the Grizzs
- Arsenal throwing money in the transfers market
- AVB close to Valencia
- And the most fantastic one: Hodgson to England!!!!!

Am I dreaming?

But u don't rate hazard better then arteta?

gerd... dont get me wrong... hazard is a good kid and will probably be a star player... but if u know how the market work for non-fellow english man...there no way a team will pay 40mil euros for an unproven kid...

True he won league 1 best player but that doesnt cut the 40mil tag!

20-25mil max thats what Lille will get for Hazard and im pretty sure Arsenal can afford that.

No jonney, at the moment i don't rate Hazard higher than Arteta. It seems as if he may getr better than Arteta but that still remains to be proved. That is about Hazard.

About Arteta: he is your most important player and seriously underrated.

I don't know what amount of money Lille will get for Hazard, but 40 million euro is what they are asking now.

no way is he going or 40m especially when he is not as good as arteta. TBH what arsenal need is a new DM and new CB. I hope Ashavin and Gevinho come back as a new player next year as both have potential

You really don't get it jonney. When Messi was the unfinished product he was less good than players like Arteta too. he was unpayable for clubs like Arsenal because of his potential, not for what he was then. Same goes for Hazard (but he will be not as good as Messi of course).

About the prize: all depends about how far certain clubs want to go, not so much to have Hazard, but to prevent other clubs having him. That is the policy of those bigf clubs too. That is what happened to Lukaku, Chelsea bought him to prevent him going to other clubs (of course Lukaku is not as good as Hazard, far from that, Lukaku is a second Freddy Adu).

But i sincerely hope Hazard plays for Arsenal...it is probably the best club for him and Wenger the best possible manager...

Hazard would be better in Arsenal or Barca. The playing style suits him. If it's Man City or Utd then it will be a bad choice.

Hello im catalan and sometimes go to lille and marseille for work, i got a friend in common with Gianni bruno, he told me that bruno said that eden is waiting for arsenal qualification to CL in the 3rd spot... is his choice but if arsenal dont go to CL he'll consider Man U or Man City, its reliable source trust me, he told me about cabaye singing to newcastle too. And i find some videos of hazard interviews talking about spurs and man utd or chelsea... he never say that they are an option, only say "im in focus in lille, i only try to do my best" except in one vide of september 2011 that he said a lot of things about arsenal... in a belgium paper too. Be patient, the price of eden is 25 or 30, and if he choice arsenal lille will do all to get him to us :)

your catalan n an Arsenal fan ? Welcome We lost 1 catalan fan and no we have another " Bienvenidos al cuartito de Arsenal :)) "

I'm not sure if Arsenal is a great fit for Hazard either, tbh. On the one hand, he's the type of nimble, skilled player that would do well there.

However, who is he going to replace? Arsenal already have an in-form Rosicky, the promising Ox, somewhat productive Walcott, they just paid a bunch for Rick James. Arsene's gotta play Wilshere if he's fit, and Song has probably been their player this year.

It seems to me that, along with City (Silva, Nasri, Aguero) Arsenal is the last team that need another small, nippy attacking midfielder.

Maybe he's just an upgrade to an existing player, but that's not really been Wenger's MO to be honest.
