Arsenal Thread

I hope fans don't expect too much from him...

Have you seen him in any MLS games for NY? I have he has free reign and to compare him to Messi`s Barca is not a fair assessment . In NY he create lots they just don`t have the striking power. He is full aware of his lack of pace ,but He is still faster then RVP plus Arsenal doesn`t play the speedy build up they have slowed down since the day of Henry area. Fabregas is slow in movement just clever at passing. You`ll be amaze how clever Henry became at passing I just hope he`s there to help not to get drag into the Glory days of King Henry :P

I think he's a decent option. Won't cost much, makes fans happy, and adds a level head to the locker room.

Also not going to be worse than whoever that player that replaced Chamakh is.

Well thats shit....hopefully we are not slipping back into old habits.

We need our defence back...going to be an interesting month or so.

Only and only ourselves to blame for this we let Fulham take the game in 2nd half!!
Ohh Walcott i want that Walcott from Chealse's game !Where is he?I dont like this copy of Walcott!

Edit: Hmm no Vermaelen and we lose!Thats interesting!

kick in the grill ! so gutted ! we couldn`t feed a fish inside a fish bowl ,my assessment to RVP getting service. Fulham were for the taking in the 1st 40min. Geo or Theo are very frustrating atm n we`re back to the 20 passes inside the box :BRICK:

A LOT of really bad referee calls in the PL lately. All teams are getting their share but the effect of these calls are very evident.

Squillaci should never be anywhere near a football pitch. He resonates the opposite of confidence, what on earth was he doing heading that ball back into the danger zone for Fulham's winner? It's a basic rule as a defender, never pass/head it back across the goal, as soon as I saw him warming up I knew there was a blooper in him. Wenger should have kept Ramsey on and told Song to drop back after the red card, or if he wanted to bring on a defender Miquel would have been better. Has there been a worse French international defender in the Premier League since the days of William Prunier?

i agree that he shouldn't be heading the ball back into danger zone but surely szczesny had a shocker today?

the first goal was really his fault, such a poor punch and second one, arguebly should've covered his near post

bit of a shock result but guess moments like this will be beneficial, with new batch of players/youth, it will see if they have that bounce back ability which they've shown in parts this season, walcott was poor from what i heard? i was watching/listening to match but was writting up so didn't see much besides goals really

Yup he is injured and will be out for a couple of weeks...

but haven't we said that last time, when it turned out he lost an entire season...so let's hope he can play again very quick.

haha i remember he was angry at Walcott for wasting good opportunity and then he couldn't put his hand in pocket because it was closed! it is a similar to what is happening to walcott he know where the goal is but can put the ball in it!:D

But in FIFA he's an 86

Seriously though, it's something i was taught as a 7 year old in my school team - never ever pass across the goal mouth - the 'no square' rule.

Squiddgy is just a clown. Never saw him play at Sevilla, so was surprised that he could be that shit. All i heard from Wenger is that he signed a player of international calibre.. pffff.

Squillaci used to be decent actually but yeah he's very mistake-prone these days and lacking major confidence. Was always a bit of a rough donkey anyway but now is past his best and doesn't have the athleticism he used to have in Monaco and early Lyon days.

Wenger has been after him for awhile and x -Chelsea Players seem to want to prove themselves THE CHANCE BEING A LOW TRANSFER TO CHELSEA PLAYER. was never going to bold well. You can't possibly judge a player by the standards of his role in a previous club can you. GALLAS WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH, ADE ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH. SOMETIMES. PLAYERS ARE BROUGHT. FOR A SEASON N WE NEED A PLAYER TO SCORE NOW NOT WAIT UNTIL NEXT SEASON THEN BECOMES A NASRI

That's just lovely to see. Legend, one of the best players I've ever seen (and definitely the best I've seen live).

Imagine a month ago we'd of had Henry scoring the winner for Arsenal and Scholes coming back for a Manchester Derby. What's wrong with the youth?
