Yea because if u finish above us, most spurs fans will gloat and we wont hear the end of it for a decade just like when you first beat us in a PL game. Think u lot even sell a dvd of it all :LMAO:
 
Blinking heck it has been 17 years since spurs finished above us in the league! that is crazy.

I remember when we were winning stuff with Graham and spurs supporters always used to say, well Spurs play better football and are more attractive :LOL: then we took that away from them aswell when Wenger came in :LOL:

Its about time Spurs finished above us to be fair, they have spent lots more money than us since the Prem begun, its about time they showed somthing for it.

As long as we are in the champs league next season,that is the main thing. I will put up with spurs fans saying 'who are the top london club?' I can answer spurs, but it took you 17 years :DD I am happy with that.
 
They do it Gerd, I had my uncle on xmas day asking me who the top london club were etc etc.

They were even boasting about being in the champs league last season and how far they got (Which I think they did well), even though we got beaten by Barcelona. Spurs couldn't even manage to be in the comp 2 seasons in a row?!

Its all very silly, but when you have reletives like mine, then you have to hope spurs dont do well :))

It common gerd. Your the "only" spurs fan that i know of that aint like that. my mate is a spurs fan and he gloated and celebrated as if they won the PL when you guys first beat us in a PL match under wenger.

Also, many spurs fans from various forums are like this mate.

Of course it would and I think they will be up amongst everybody at the end of the season, they look very good. I just hope they fall away a bit and don't take our champs league spot :DD
 
In all honesty, i still think Arsenal are the biggest London club.
Being the biggest club is not about the current league standings (otherwise City are the biggest club in England).
To me Arsenal, because of their history are the biggest London club just like on the continent Liverpool are still seen as the biggest English clubs due to their history.
 
I wasn't talking about the biggest, i ment the club who is most inform and doing best which you can't argue in london it is tottenham, arsenal did start to catch up but tottenham have been most consistant easily and have best defence record out of the london clubs
 
argumentative ! who cares where Spurs , Chelsea , Arsenal, Fulham are at . It only matters come May ! then you can put your theory w/ validation. I`ve seen Arsenal go w/o a lost until Feb, and they were 10pts. leading the table to fall into pieces for 3rd spot.

So, your input is a class half full or half empty. The facts are Spurs always use Arsenal as if only toppling them matters. Hence why most Spuddies are obsess w/ beating Arsenal and the club will just bank on it! for a small nominal fee :P I`m afraid no London club will build a new stadium and will be able to sustain the standing as Arsenal has done. FACTS !
 
Henry is on his way back! .... interesting! nonetheless ?

1. He loves the club and wants to bring something he lacked as a player near the end? He`s been humbled and you never get the full scope until you leave.

2. Henry did the business and more gunners on this squad hasn`t . I see Henry more of a coach in training remember when Becks went to train he help players w/ crossing? I do !

3. Henry won`t lead from the front I can only see Henry giving so much to RVP`s game. He can tell RVP the grass is never as it looks , stay n be better than him .Henry doesn`t have the speed but he can assist and is much wiser. I just worry about match fitness he will be better than Arshavin


4. Henry was a ST that drifted to the wings and guess who can learn from him. AlexOX, Theo ,Gervinho (AFN )


5. 2 months only ? A cheap opt that can turn out to be a blessing. Hey! Paddy how`s City do for ya! They don`t love you... Wenger has the last say He wanted Paddy to join and now we have Henry I bet Henry will return and Paddy will bank his pocket ,but The love you receive from fans/Club is priceless .
 
I happy we won today...but geez we need to spend on january cause we aint gonna beat able to be better than the top 6 with the current squad!

Im tired of Walcott! WHy cant Wenger give up on him! the guy been in the premier league since he was 16! been to a world cup and yet! still having confidence problem on the pitch! want to be a striker but have no self control and technique, he still run down on the wing like a chicken with no head! He belong a mid-table club that is it!

Gervinho can dribble but cant shoot for sake! If RVP get injured We are TOTALY screwed up cause hes the only one with ramsey and song carrying this team out right now. Altought Ramsey and Song are doing an incredible job, RVP is the only one putting ourself on the scoresheet.

good result ,but even better that Chelsea lost !RVP broke the club record by 1 goal ,sorry Titi. We need Gervinho n Theo scoring this is just pitiful. Who gets that much chances and don`t score?! Miguel is miles better than Coquelin at the full back . Can`t wait until our 4 fullbacks get back into contention . A day where shocking results invaded the football world today .

Really harsh on Walcott, I think he has set up over half of Van Persies goals!

I agree he and others in the team should be scoring more, but I think your rant about him is not justified and doesn't take into consideration all of his other aspects.

With Vermaelen out aswell our defence is at its bare bones, this is a huge worry going into the new year.

Interesting about Henry, lets see how much playing time he will get? but defintately good to have around the club as long as possible.
 
City also lost and we are just 9 points behind them with 57points to be played so still is doable for us to win the title but we cannot afford to lose anymore this season. we can afford maybe a draw or two but realisticaly if we can just lose maybe one game and draw 2 for the remaining games, we could win the title as i can see everyone around us dropping a few more points. Dont think anyone will have a blinder of a 2nd half of a season

walcott setting up goals??? I think its harsh saying he set up half of van persie goals...I think Walcott is the true definition of player with good physical and athletist asset but totaly LACK any football brain. I just dont see any progression that this player is making...He keep talking about being a Striker but I dont see any progression. Also, he`s a very fragile guy thats loose confidence quickly.

Also I can't find it now, but I didn't just pluck the half of Van Persies goals being set up by Walcott, I remember reading it somewhere.

I think he is making a big impression this season now that he isn't getting lots of little injuries and able to get a good run in the team.

I think he is tracking back well to help defence, his crossing has improved alot all he needs to do is start scoring regularly and I think that will come.

I really can't see how after this half of the season you can say Walcott is doing this badly, to me it seems like you have only watched a couple of games and making up your mind from what people have said in the past about him (football brain etc).

Anyway, it's strange how people see different things isn't it?

When playing for Barcelona he lost his place to the great Jeffren...
I'm afraid he will spoil his legacy.

But i really hope i'm wrong because i've always liked him as a player and he struck me as a fair guy (although Irish people will beg to differ on that).

To be honest he is only here for a couple of months, the only way he could spoil his legacy is to Cantona kick Wenger in the nuts or something and I don't think that will happen.

I don't think any Arsenal fans are expecting much, If he gets a few goals/assists then that would be great, but I am not expecting great things.

I am looking forward to him coming on in a game....and scoring the winner ;-)

I think he will be brought on at the end of games to see the game off more than anything.
