Yes! get 3pt. and redeem yourself from that awful performance Friday:lol:

something like that happened before. I remember when Ron Atkinson was manager. We won the first 11 games of the season and then drew with Luton.

I think we'll beat Tottingham. They're not that good really.

I was worried as well. And I almost screamed when Pires shot the first shot into the defender. :D

Hold up Hold up hold up. How did you watch with Winamp?

I was watching bloody Gillette Soccer Saturday don't tell me I could have been watching it.

Well its back in our hands again, I remember someone saying that there would be more twists and turns before the end of the season and they were right! ;)

I have got a feeling that Wednesday is going to determine a lot of things as to how our season will pan out.

If we get a good result we will bouyed going into the Spurs match. If we need to get a result in Spain the following week, then we may rest players for Spurs and have 1 eye on the 2nd leg.

I wouldnt get too carried away, you still have to actually BEAT tottenham. If not its back in their favour. You remember my prediction which was correct when i told you we would beat tottenham 1-2?

Well Since both sides are equally matched and both are in form, the tie could sway either way. But the likely hood is that it will most probably be a draw in which case chelsea will win the title on the day.

you's have got a pretty exciting finish to the season really. plenty to play for, we've only got the chelsea game then its pretty much done for us....

Its either gonna brilliant or is all going to go tits up!!

I know its finished for you but it would be nice for you to go to $tamford Bridge and win, just to show them that they won't have it all their own way next season!

It'll also be nice to see Chelsea having to wait until May to actually win the trophy although it will be a little harsh that if they lose to you they wont be able to lift the trophy at the Bridge!

I'm really worried about tomorrow's game, the pressure of being favourites for once is unwelcome in my eyes.

It always tends to be our downfall. I think we need to go into the game fearless but show them respect (not too much mind). We are solid at the back at the moment and it will be vital we keep a cleansheet.

It all seems a bit surreal, all these years praying we'll get this far and the season I don't expect us to we could actually pull it off. Every CL game feels weird these day, and it's the last ever European night at Highbury, lets go out with a bang.

Well it's a proper squeaky bum morning for me today. I'm sure my productivity is going to be pants today better make sure I don't do anything too difficult as it will end up a little Pete Tong.

Good to see Cesc back tonight and hopefully Thierry will score his 50th euro goal and follow it up with his 51st, 52nd and 53rd!

Come on you redcurrants lets give this great old stadium the European send off it deserves.

Good luck tonite lads, I know what most of you's are going thru this today, what a feeling, all the what ifs and the "can we really do it"...

Gotta say though, I'll be supporting my old pal Diego (he made the scousers cry) but on the other hand I dont want an all spanish final so i'm well and truly torn (lol).

Anyway enjoy the day fellas!

Cheers Vann. I can't concentrate at all today, I might as well leave for the match now!!

Seriously though I think it will be very tight, I will take any scoreline at all as long as it says Villareal 0 at the end!!

Its really fitting that the last ever European game at Highbury is probably its biggest ever, a great way to say goodbye to European football at Highbury. I for one, cannot wait for 7.45pm. Its gonna be a long day....

Never thought the day would come when I'd be excited for the gunners, but let's see some more English european magic! Good luck :)

I miss the tension leading up to a game like tonights, hopefully next season!

Oh, this match is going to be great. The teams are very tied, but the medias put Arsenal as the favorite. Well, to be honest, theirs is no favorite tonight, because Arsenal and Villareal are both very capable teams and they both play great football.

I just hope we get a good result and give Highbury the proper goodbye from Europe.

btw, is it true that if the Gunners win the CL they don't need to be in the top 4 in England? That's how I understood some Slovene journalist.

Well, the management can use Liverpool's case this season as a precedent for why we should be allowed to compete, if we do win, and don't reach fourth.

It's going to be tough tonight, but I can't wait. It's hard to believe this will be the last European night at Highbury. Wow, I guess the end is near.

I have to say I also have one eye firmly on the derby. It's beautifully set up and you would think the winner (if there is one) of that match would be set on their path. Hope to god it's us.

That's right, we would take Spurs place and also go straight into the group stage without qualifying. This extra place would be taken away from Celtic hence the reason they are probably cheering the winner of the other semi in the final.

Wait, so Celtic would then have to qualify right? That seems a bit harsh, shouldn't the team displacing have to play the qualifying round, not the team displaced? Weird.

It is unfair and I think Celtic get displaced as the SPL is the lowest ranked league that gains an automatic slot.
