Arsenal Thread

but we have shown we are capable of playing great football and defending against some of the best attackers in football. we can still get 4th, its well within reach, we just need to win a couple of fucking games. string about 4 or 5 wins together and toughen the fuck up. and fucking shoot!!! what the fuck is up with that, only v. persie and titi look capable of shooting, the amount of times we've had the ball on the edge of the box...

Ashley out for longer and also Campbell supposed to be out for longer. We have Fulham Away on Saturday.

Fulham = great record at home.
+
Arsenal = horrendous away form

= Arsenal lose

My Maths is pretty good I got a B in GCSE's! so this isn't looking to good!

Can't believe a time would come when I thought we were going to get beaten by Fulham, Home or Away!

I'm Depressed - Lets hope Arsenal can restore some hope and show us that we can reach 4th spot (at least!).

Hleb annoys me with that!

hlebs's been injured so his adaptation to the EPL has been hindered. From what ive seen he is well capable of playing football, he's skillful, quick, good passer and clever yet like you guys said he needs to cut out the crap and shoot given the opportunity. he'll come good at the end!!

I dont think its just Hleb who does that at arsenal, I've watched them a few times and they have a tendency to over elobarate and pass when they should be shooting.....

did anyone see Fabregas and Reyes play last night in the spain team...they played brilliantly. Fabregas bullied the ivorians into submission...he's going to be one hell of a midfield general in the next decade and Reyes tormented the ivorian defence immensely when coming on and rounded it off with a sweet right foot bullet into the top corner!! the futures bright!!

.....The futures Orange! Or Red with a hint of Orange.

0-2 the result at the moment. Are the Arses playing any good aka do they deserve the lead?

I can only see the result and not the actual game. :(

0-4. :applause:

Can't wait to see the goals tomorrow. This could be the confidence they need for Real Madrid match.

We won 4-0 and we need to get to 4th spot in the premiership. Its an Omen I tell thee, an Omen!

I know you're really excited with this rare occasion but theres no need to double post.

i really wouldnt worry about real madrid atm. I just finished watching the madrid derby, although they won, they cant defend. Their defenders are all over the place and are blatantly uncoordinated. Im still alittle nervy but hopefully real continue playing with crap defenders and hopefully we carry the momentum from this afternoon

Fabregas has admitted he has been flattered by Real's reported interest, but insists he is content at Highbury.

don`t get ahead of yourself...manyoo it said to have there problems w/ rumors as well...whose...how..when...etc.

well played arsenal, i must say i admire their ruthlessness infront of goal, but i still think not all the other teams have developed how to stop arsenal!

Arsenal played some fantastic football yesterday and to be fair they put in a good defensive display, in all honesty the score line flatters Fulham should have been 5, 6 or even the magic 7. Madrid are gonna have problems they can't defend for shit

Im not getting ahead of myself, notice i said 'COULD' which means there is possiblity he could go to spain. Put on your glasses and read the article again, nowhere does he say he is content at arsenal. He said ''all that matters in this moment is arsenal and there will be time to talk about everything else in the future''. 'Everything else' is Real Marid, I'd imagine. After saying how happy he is to be linked with Real, he mentions that returning to spain is in his head and admits he doesnt know if that will happen next season or another.

He doesnt rule out any move, or mention his happiness or satisfaction at arsenal. But kid yourself again. When ever rumours come about with united, one of our players are always there to dismiss it long before it escalates into any more crap or even a bid. Usaully a loyal players would say their delight at being at their current club and would even say they plan to see out their current contract. They dont try and entice a bid to come about with comments lik 'moving to Italy or spain is in my head and maybe next season or another it could happen'. That dont sound like a player who would reject an offer from another club.

If you look at the game this way, we were given space and time to play. When we are given that, there is no one better in the premiership. However, if we're not given time and space, and hustled and harried, then we become knocked off our game.

I think against Real, we'll do good, as they need to win, but they are not the hustle bustle team like Bolton - thus giving us space. However, we need to keep it together against the other teams in the run in.

... Sounds like this kid has no loyalty, then again what arsenal player has?

this is posting a link? go and worry about your own team and stop concentrating so heavily on ours. are you that insecure about your own team that you need to highlight every bit of bad press about ours?

anyway, madrid on wednesday. i honestly couldn't see us winning the first leg and now i honestly can't see us losing this one...so we're fucked.

Looking at that list there's no reason we shouldn't beat all those teams bar Madrid, Lpool and Man Yoo. I expect to lose the away game at OT, and the Man City game will be tough as well, but if we sort it out there's no real reason why we shouldn't take maximum points.

We won't tho... :(
