Arsenal Thread

Thats some way to answering our critics :DD
and some prophecies of doom from some of our fans on this thread..
It was a great game tonight,RVP getting on the board and nice to see our return to playing good football.

Is it just me or did it seem to everyone that everyone from Adebayor & Vela to Toure seemed intent on scoring??
&
Fabregas laying into challenges in the Mid Field?

On another note saw Veira on the telecast at the game...is he the experienced CMF that wenger's talking abt?:-pp

well well...Vela look like he`s up for the challenge such a strong lad :)) Toure made his present known that silvestre won`t take his spot. I luv the fact that everyone looks like scoring...that fulham lost might be a blessing too early to tell. Denilson needs some improvement ,but getting that last cheeky build up goal was so inviting

Now i wouldnt be worried if RVP is injured for 2 weeks or 3 weeks. We have Vela as an excellent, not just good, replacement.
And Last season, we had only Fabregas as the main guy, but this season its main guys- Fabregas and Nasri.

That Inler bloke - we are meant to be after him again.

Hopefully we get him - but last time they said he didn't want to come. So God knows what is happening.

I haven't heard about anybody else though.....Unfortunately.

:lmao:

Just because we didn't spend big doesn't mean we are fucked....

Christ I am concerned about our cover in midfield but we are nowhere near fucked...
spend big? we dont need to spend BIG to bring in useful players. for example, alonso hasn't got a 30m price tag doesnt he?

No but 14 - 16 million is still a heck of alot of money. It just doesn't seem so nowadays with Man U and Chelsea and now Man City around.

Also we did try to sign him - but I am sure there were other reasons he didn't come. Like Liverpool not wanting him to go to one of their big rivals for one.

we should of offered 15m for yaya toure or whatever his name is. DM right? all we had to do is match the asking price and toure's brother would of been here in no time

We're going to be operating with the weakest midfield since Wenger reign began.

I hope his blindness hasn't now extended to the team! We'll see if Le Prof has got it right over the next couple of months.

Arsene is committed to this project now, he's hardly gonna fuck up the whole experiment and just sign someone for the hell of it. He wants a particular type of player and won't budge on that. I think it's great what he's trying to do.
