I REALLY hope this isn't the quality DM we need to compliment Cesc, surely not?? This guy is more injury prone than Rosicknote and that is saying something....![]()
I'm starting to think we may see Touré as DMF (better him than Eboué).
yea thats quality. nice doing business with ya spursLooks like we will be getting quite a bit of money from the Bentley Deal![]()
Wenger said:Frenchman content with current striking options
Arsene Wenger is confident Arsenal have more than enough firepower having ruled out making a move in the transfer market.
Last season's top goalscorer Emmanuel Adebayor has been the subject of interest from AC Milan but now looks likely to stay at Emirates Stadium for another season at least.
When taking this into account, in addition to the return from injury of Robin van Persie, Wenger is confident a title challenge can be mounted on the back of their collective powers.
And with Nicklas Bendtner, Carlos Vela and Theo Walcott all having enjoyed impressive pre-seasons, Arsenal's French tactician is predicting bright times ahead.
"We are not as short of strikers as people thought," he told the club's official website.
"We have Vela, who has integrated well into the team, and Bendtner was a force at the end of last season. He will confirm that again this year.
"In all the areas in total we are perhaps one player short. But up front we don't need anyone."
I doubt Wenger would gamble on the DM position with someone who is injury prone and inexperienced. Bischoff has the potential to be a useful squad player, given his versatility but he probably lacks the potential/ability to become a regular starter. Think Darren Fletcher.Glad to see Bischoff wasn't the player to fill the void next to Fab.
