In the Game last night we had the two Hoytes in Defence and in the Mirror it said they were more like the Chuckle Brothers!!!!

That says it all really......................................AARRRGGHHHHH!!!!!

Why can't he just buy a decent defender anyway, so we have a bit of backup?!!! maybe spend 5mill? thats all.
 
Barca probably asked him to say that stuff. Wouldn't be surprised if Fabregas dreamed of Barca though, it is his hometown club and where he began, but I dont see a move taking place in the near future.
 
With your current team lads do you honestly believe you can win the Premiership or Champions League next season?
 
I think we can - It all depends on when Eduardo and Rosicky get back I think.

Always said though - its our defence that will tell whether or not we will or not and our defence is not as solid as Man U - So I think that is a big factor.

We were only 4 points away from you last season - It isn't as if you ran away with the league!!
 
I think every season it starts new everyone start w/ 0 pts and having to play vs weaker teams in Aug and Sept. does help the cause

We didn't but you lot should have, Theres got to be a reason when a team is 5 points clear and in the next 4 games doesnt win, No doubt your team is quality but does it have the experience or numbers to last?
 
Fabregas, i know hes gonna leave, but not now. He has openly said that he has dreams for playing for Madrid or Milan. But for now hes gonna stay put. Maybe when he turns 24, he could go.
 
Fabregas will probably leave when he's about 29 for buttons when he should have ben sold at 26 for millions more, and Wenger will have a 7 year old child prodigy from Western Namibia well oiled and groomed Premiership ready to take his place.

To be honest - I can see Fab going next year if we don't win anything again. Thats the worst case scenario.

Or an even worse case would be Wenger getting pissed off and wanting a new challenge :SHOCK:

Your downfall last season was your lack of strength in depth. If you want to do better than last season, you need the same quality of strength in depth that Man U and Chelsea have but so far Wenger has not addressed that.
 
Not addressing it is a understatement, im pretty sure there going to start this season with less players than they did last season. I think Cesc won't leave until around 26-27 while Wenger isn't going to sign a new deal and leave when his current contract is up.

You don`t get it do you? :LOL: HELLO!... HELLO! we don`t have the money. Ok ,...Manutd and Chels has a debt over 650mil while we have 250 mil we`re limited you lots have Russian and Yank Rich owners. It`s not just the transfer bill ,but the wages you have to pay you lots got players making over 100k per week chels got players making 140k a week. Arsenal are ran by English despite the squad, that`s why last season made it so immense we almost w/ chicken feed...we`re not so far off the mark . I understand it takes money ,but we are no where near that facility . We`re a peoples club we try to make a £ out of a pence.

When did I say that you guys aren't skint? :SS I was just stating my opinion that I believe you guys need to increase your squad's strength in depth, if you want to do as good as Man Utd and Chelsea this season.
 
To be honest footy fans are fickle - If we win a few games and he scores the winning goals. Then it all gets forgotten about. To be honest as long as he keeps his mouth shut from now on and just gets on with his job that he gets paid an extortionate wage anyway - then I will be fine with him.

It will be the same with Ronaldo aswell.

Fabregas rejects exit speculation

Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas has reiterated his commitment to club.

Reports in Spain quoted the 21-year-old hinting at a future move to Real Madrid, particularly if Arsenal finish the 2008-09 season trophyless.

But Fabregas told the club website: "I am happy at Arsenal, my future is here and the priority is to achieve success and win trophies at Arsenal.

"I think that some people are just trying to make mischief but my intentions are very clear."

Fabregas, who played a key role in Spain's Euro 2008 triumph, signed a new eight-year contract in 2006.

The Catalan joined Arsenal from Barcelona as a 16-year-old in 2003 and it was reported that Fabregas, following the departures of Mathieu Flamini, Alexander Hleb and Gilberto Silva this summer, could be the latest high-profile name to leave the Emirates Stadium.

"I have not spoken to any media so it's frustrating to read quotes that I have supposedly said about my future," he added.

"I have spent the summer relaxing with my family, friends and girlfriend and I return to training with Arsenal (on Tuesday)."
