There are rumours that Barca wants a swap Deal for Ade over Eto'o. Well i dont know whether this offer would be right or wrong. Both are good.

anyways, i read this article in which some mutha has written that Flamini's signing to AC Milan was Wenger's fault and Flamini is not to be blamed for this. Well i dont think it is his fault, but still u guys might want to read this....

buying players from russian teams is difficult, money for them isn't a issue, so they'll ask alot...and dunno if it's worth doing it.

thought the author made some quite interesting points, it still is hard to believe unless we hear it straight from the people who were involved... one things for sure though..

"Arsene has broken up a midfield partnership that was perfect for the way he likes to play his football. We have seen some absolutely amazing stuff from Arsenal this season, and a lot has to do with how Flamini has combined with Fabregas. Arsene must now strive to recreate that from scratch, with a player who may or may not suit Cesc's style."

that would be interesting choice!! Ade swap for Eto!! hmm both are very powerful strikers & goal scoring ones!! Recently was reading an article on goal.com Wenger stating that Ade can become a Nobody if he doesn't continuously strive to improve himself!!

Yeah thats the thing i am worried about. We have to trust Wenger that he gets someone who can build the same kind of partnership. Time is not the main issue coz even Flamini and Fabregas formed it just this season. So maybe 2 months we might struggle but later on we could improve. Hope he gets someone experienced who would play better or just like Flamini!!

I disagree time is an issue if your bringing someone outside the current squad. Flamini was here from 2004 , they build a relationship that just materialized this season. Who's to say Song or Denilson is not capable of producing the same. Energy and letting Fabregas do his thing is required imo. My main concern is in defense at the back gk,cb I want a rock or a steel pillar :)

Flamini left so lets move on ....Henry left ,Ade scores 30+ goals

This is really Shit!! I have taken 3 Aspirins since morning due to these stupid Headaches. First it was Flamini who Fucking broke the Partnership and now its Hleb, whose agent allegedly said last night that he wants to leave even though Arsenal is giving him a good contract. and Adebayor allegedly demanding for 80,000 per week. Thats too much!! Hes been good but 80,000 is just too much i guess. This is all becoz of AC Milan and Inter Milan!! If any of them leaves, thanks to both Milan teams!!

Ben Arfa is a prospect at the moment though, no doubt he is quality player but i would put him in the same boat as Babel this season and Nani this season. he will need time to adapt etc.

Ben Arfa would be a great signing. He is a naturally left sided player but can also play down the right and in the hole behind a target man. With all the talk being about Benzema nowadays, Ben Arfa is also going to become a great player in the future.

Seems bit of a light wait to me, Like Ronaldo when he first arrived will take him time to adapt to the more physical game over here.

Ofcourse, we cant expect much from him the next season itself. Maybe thats why Wenger still wants to keep Hleb. So that when he finally leaves, maybe next to next season, Ben Arfa would be Good. But atleast he would be a good replacement for Hleb.

News around all the gossip colums is Kompany and Gomes (Psv) too.

Wenger hopefully will tie up all of next seasons signings by the end of May.

Wenger moves to reassure fans over transfers

Arsene Wenger is very confident of bringing his top summer transfer targets to Emirates Stadium and hopes the Arsenal fans will be 'reassured' the future is bright.

The Gunners head into tomorrow's final game of what has been a rollercoaster season at Sunderland with little other than pride to play for after their title bid faded.

Despite promising so much and failing to deliver while seeing top two Manchester United and Chelsea also reach the Champions League final, Wenger insists his team deserve a great deal of credit for running their rivals closer than they have since last winning the title in 2004.

The Arsenal manager, though, does not intend to rest on his laurels and will step up the search for fresh talent as soon as the campaign is over.

With out-of-contract midfielder Mathieu Flamini having already opted to sign for AC Milan and Alexander Hleb reported to be ready to buy out his contract and join Inter, Wenger looks set for a busy two months.

Arsenal have been linked with Portsmouth's Croatian winger Niko Kranjcar and Lyon's Hatem Ben Arfa, both valued around £12million, as well as Cameroon midfielder Jean Makoun - currently at Lille - while Valencia forward David Villa has talked of his admiration for the Gunners.

Wenger already has his main targets in mind and hopes to complete the deals by the end of the month.

'I know what I want and I am very confident,' he said.

'I hope to turn that around in the next two or three weeks. They (fans) should be re-assured by what they see.'

Wenger's main signing last summer was Croatia forward Eduardo da Silva, who later suffered an horrific broken leg at Birmingham, and the Frenchman indicated he may look closer to home this time around.

'It would be better to buy someone who has played in England because they are less risky, but it costs more money if they are from the Premier League,' Wenger said.

'Maybe I will try to do both.'

Wenger, however, maintains his squad does not need major surgery and the foundations are in place to mount another sustained title challenge come kick-off in August.

'It doesn't look like we have no team and we have to build a team,' he said.

'We were unbeaten at home and that is only the second time in the history of the club.

'We have done that with young players who will be better next season.'

While the character of his young side was pushed to the limit this season, Wenger feels the experiences they endured will stand them all in good stead for the challenges ahead.

'If we are winners we come back and do it and that is what I expect from my team,' he added.

'I think the big core of the team is ready to come back and fight, and that all of them are determined to come back and win.

'Like every big disappointment you have in life you go through a period where you have to swallow and digest it and think 'Where do I go from here? Do I feel sorry for myself or do I fight and do something different?'

'After a while the players come together and there is a good togetherness in the squad.

'I feel they have created something special and not to take advantage of that would be criminal for me.'

Not very sure about Kompany coz i havent seen him Playing but others would be really good. But.. Gomes-10M, Kompany-15M, Ben Arfa-15M, Kranjcar-15M. This makes it around 55M. Sure a lot amount, but really good players, not very sure Wenger will buy so many.

and Flamini said that he left not for money but becoz Arsenal lost in all competitions. It was very painful for him. C'mon, Flamini, we beat AC Milan and you joined them!!

Will anyone of them fill Flamini's position? (the one Abhishek's mentioned) Kompany is quality btw rushi.

Flamini says that if he was offered a contract last season like he wanted, he would have signed and stayed. He also said that the pain from throwing away the title affected his decision to leave.

If those was his words...it`s sad ,but he will most likely regret his actions and find another reason to move on onto another club. Having someone bitter for a whole season and lets it out now I say HA! Thanks for your time!

We didnt THROW AWAY!! No one Throws away the Title or CL. We wanted to win but we couldnt due to some mistakes which were not in our own control. We will ofcourse do better, anyone would know that Wenger will try to rectify those mistakes. But...
Flamini will now regret now(if he wanted to win CL) that Milan finished 5th in Serie A.

I think Kranjcar would fit in Flamini's place.

I don't think Flamini joined us for immediate success. I think he joined looking for long term success.

I think Kranjcar would be a better replacement for Hleb rather than Flamini. Kranjcar doesn't really have any defensive qualities and is more lightweight than Flamini imo. I think someone like Barry might do the trick.

Long term success, even Arsenal can have that.
Anyways, Kranjcar does play on wing but he plays defensive also sometimes. Maybe Wenger wants him to play defensively, you know Wenger is good in changing positions of players, but then lets see..

eto'o to arsenal... their talkin about it and I eto o might consider cause I dont think he want to go to italy and the premiership is THE LEAGUE right now.

Jesus!! do you actually believe that! you sound like Roman, Niko`s cousin :)) He went for the pay raise if he wanted success he would of join Juve ya think!
