Arsenal Thread

It will be an easy game I think.
I'm rooting for Tottenham but they never win. :(
I also support Chelsea because of Gianfranco Zola The Magic Box. :applause:

Whatever happens over the rest of the season you have got to take your hat off to Wenger.

Since the end of last season he has sold:

Henry = £16m
Aliadiere = £2m
Diarra = £6m

Total = £24m

Brought in:

Sagna = £6m
Eduardo = £8m
Diarra = £2m

Total = £16m

He has made a transfer profit of £8m, improved the team, kept the beautiful football with younger players and put us where we are today. The guy is a genius and I can't imagine even the most ardent Arsenal hater disagreeing. :applause:

:applause: Wenger is a genius. You lot will have a good chance of dominating the next few years because your kids will only get better. Of course, we'll have something to say in that! ;)

Hats off to Wenger. I would go as for to say that he is probably the BEST manager in the world. Who would have thought that behind 2 disappointing years, he was actually building a squad with no money, that will probably be on the best in Europe for many years to come. His eye for talent, his youth policy, development of younger players, and playing style is absolutely phenomenal :applause:

great post!

Might I also add that I think Sagna has been the signing of the season. The best right back the in Premier League since ages.

Another good thing about Arsenal that no-one has touched on is the GK situation. Both of your first-team 'Keepers get a lot of stick from the press but I haven't seen them make too many mistakes this season.

This has been the best premiership race in years so far. It was cool to see United play in their retro jerseys the other day (and lose BTW lol), we should take our 71 kit out for a whirl!

To be fair they haven't really had much to do, and even when Lehmann had nothing to do he still fluffed a couple. I don't remember him making a save against Blackburn..
