Arsenal Thread

That's rubbish. Just off the top of my head

Arsenal
ManU
Roma (this is true one touch football!)
Werder Bremen
Barcelona
AC Milan
Sevilla
Fiorentina
Real Madrid (sometimes)
Espanyol (same as above)
Most Ligue 1 teams

All play some brilliant football.

Good post, totally agree. Spurs play some entertaining footy too.

Yup, Spurs too, and also almost all the African nation teams in the Cup of Nations this year. Some absolutely fantastic football :applause:

The best football teams I've seen in recent years is the Brazilian team in the 2002 WC, Valencia under one Rafa Benitez (shocking, I know!) and the Barcelona team in the 05/06 season. And the best thing about these teams were that they were as good defensively, and did not rely on just one style of play. They could go up there and mix it up, but always won in style.

And honestly, apart from Arsenal, ManU and Spurs, EPL is boring to watch.

Agree totally mate, on this topic of beautiful football theres not just one way of it being played as Arsenal and Uniteds are to different style's of it, ours is more based on individuals at times were i believe Arsenals is more a team having a sixth sense with each other knowing what to do next

Well it's up to you lot to capitalize on us dropping points over the last two games now and I think you do have it in the locker to do so.

I reckon now Arsenal will run away from the rest. Win on Monday, and it's 5 points lead. I think from then, only Arsenal, can mess it up. It's in your own hands now.

Milanista> never said Arsenal ONLY plays beautiful football. anyways dont wanna talk about that now. i just hope we win 4-0 against blackburn tomorrow. this will also increase the goal difference.

I can't see you losing to Blackburn at home. You have more than enough in the team to put them to bed.

Blackburn is a tricky game, they haven't looked too great lately but then neither had city. And then there's Bentley, that would make a good headline so who knows. We've let better positions slip away before, but this team doesn't seem as arrogant, they know there is a long way to go yet.

Kolo and Eboue back soon as well I hope, come on Arsenal! I want the league so bad this year, I never imagined at the beginning of the season we'd be this strong and consistant.

To be honest mate, I didn't see you lot top of the league in Feb 2008 either. Gotta praise you lot, you've got the spirit that wins titles at the moment.

A lot of people said (or hoped!) we would fall away because of the African Nations Cup, well sorry to disappoint everyone but it looks like we could end up 5 points ahead of everyone else just as the tournament is ending..

All this from a team written off by most at the start of the season as we were going to struggle to finish 4th!

The game tonight is a classic one that we should Win - but have the possibilty of fucking up.

Its gonna be very tricky I think.

We also have quite a few people out aswell. Flamini is out I think and he would be vital in a game like this.

Come on Arsenal - lets get the 3 points. We badley need this lead as I think the end of March beginning of April we have a very tricky period of games.

I'm a bit nervous last opportunity we blew our chance to push the lead if the rovers just sit back and defend it will be a long night. Not many teams want to sit back against young men nowadays the pride of a few teams had teams fighting us making life a bit easier hence the 1 lost at middleborough...anyone knows if Hoyte is our CB or is that AW pregame politic at best?

You lot will be fine tonight, Adebayor is on FIRE at the moment. I can even see a 3-0 drubbing. :)
