Right Gooner, i'll take your word for it.

Anyway saw Edu and Vieira's goals. Good running work by Pires wich gave the room for Vieira. Edu's goal, hehe he was quite lucky.

Don't you think my description of Edu's goal was perfect? I should be a radio commentator.

Good game by Arsenal, Chelsea dominated the first few seconds. After the first goal i was like "arsenal are fucked". But they proved that they could fight back just like Milan did to Inter :D

Go Arsenal!

Vieira is due a goal he hasn't scored at all this season!

Get fucking in there paddy!! you did me proud! 7 points clear and not at all over, but the fat lady is getting her vocals warmed up. Delicious raking pass by Bergy to setup Vieira's goal, must be assist of the season with the spin he put on that. Us gooners are just holding it down, not getting to over confident as we've learnt our lessons from last year. But we are in prime position to bring the title back home. We can only lose it now because Man Utd aren't playing well at all. But where have I said before? Who to, who to be, who to be a......

Like everyone expected, Portsmouth will be our next opponent in the FA Cup. Shouldn't be too much of a problem, although we're playing away from home.

I think it will be decided on 27th March. I'm hoping we can with it 4th last game of the season at the Lane, that would be great!!!!

Don't forget that we won the league at White Hart Lane on our way to our first double in '71.
We haven't won the league every year recently but when we do, we do it in style! ;)

Yeah it all hinges on the Man Utd game March 28th, if we can sustain the 7 point gap up to that game and win or draw we've got one hand on the title. Wouldn't it be sweet to clinch the title at Spurs's place.

It is mightly impressive, I did my A-level Geography cousrework on it a couple of years back and it will get a lot of revenue form areas other than ticket sales.

Great, great news today, the new stadium looks highly impressive, can't wait to see the Arsenal play there. But what shall we be calling it? Should we take the sponsorship deal and call it "Nike Stadium" to drive ticket prices down? or give it our own name, like "Gooner Grove". I prefer if the new stadium had it's own unique name that all gooner's can be proud of.

I don't think it's up to discussion, the club have already said it will take a corporate name but they don't know what one yet.

I do like Gooner Grove though

I'v eheard that the game which could mean us breaking Leeds and Liverpools all time unbeaten start to a season record is when Utd come to Highbury. As if that game needed any more building up.

In the press conference the board said they have yet to decide the name of the stadium, but don't rule out a sponsorship name. More likely the stadium will have a original name to it.

I know, theres gonna be so much hype for that game, but it's definetly going to be a championship decider, because if we beat Manu we will be on such a high mentally there's going to be no one stopping us. Also Vieira is passed fit for the celta vigo game, good news all around today!

This has been the best 3 days for Arsenal in ages! First we win at Stamford Bridge in the league for the first time in 4 years, Man United draw with Leeds, Liverpool are knocked out of the FA Cup by Pompey, Spurs throw away a 2 goal lead and only get a draw against 10 man Leicester, the funding for the new stadium is finally in place and Paddy looks to be fit for Tuesday! Let's hope it continues into weeks and months to come!

A win of tuesday will top off a good period for us.

Congratulations Nicky, you only joined a month before me but you've already made more than 4 times the amount of posts I've made. Oh how I wish I was at Premiership status, but I'm stuck in the lowly 3rd Division. :(

Boring job + lack of work = EvoWeb addiction :D

Just heard that Vieira is fit for tomorrow, but Ashley Cole and Gilberto will be out.

Just an idea i came up with when i was randomly singing to mself earlier. A chant for the Man Yoo game - it needs work tho...

Oh How the mighty have Fallen!
Oh how the mighty have Fallen!
Oh how the mighty have Fallen!
And he's not scoring goals!

Just a clever play on words to think about...
