Cole has imrpoved quite considerably in defense this season. Remember, still, that's he's still young and there's no doubt he'll improve. I'd pick him over Bridge any day - although Bridge is still a good player.

Speaking of them, he's out of the game at the Bridge tomorrow (see what I did there? :shaking: ). Hopefully, we'll have him for the game agaisnt vigo, however. Gives a chance for young Clichy to deputise.

Gilberto will be in the squad, I bet. Edu will play for him though. Freddie is finally back and Sol is looking good. Oh, and Henry comes back into the line-up. I hadn't even noticed he had gone. :)

Exactly! He was injured and everyone thinks Wayne Bridge is good just because he crosses the ball into no one. The only positive thing he did was when he linked up with Joe Cole but even then he shot went out for a throw in! So what does that tell you about him?

I`m not on about the "17 minutes" Cole played. Maybe Bridge is having a bad season, I havent been keeping tabs on him to be honest. But Cole is too wild, no composure. I love watching him going forward, but I don`t think he defends very well. What about P.Neville left-back, and Gary as right back with Sol and Rio/Terry/King central?

Phil Neville, Jesus christ, i'd rather have Tracey Neville playing left back. Someone needs to tell him only good players can get away with white boots.

Absolutely no way can Phil Neville play at left back, he ain't even good enough for right back! First of all he ain't naturally left footed and not a patch on cole or bridge. Remember his rash challenge on Moldovan at Euro 2000 which knocked us out of the championships. shocker.

Wiltord is blatently good enough to wear white boots, he's just had bad luck with injuries this season, he pisses all over Phil Neville anyway, who I think is totally over rated and I don't know how he get's picked for Man United over Nicky Butt, He's fuckin' shit! When is everyone gonna realise that Phil Nevile only gets in the England squad because of his brother, and he's not much better to be honest.

Wayne Bridge was quality and his crossing is top notch, not just crossing to no-one. i also think he's more reliable when defending one-to-one, and not liable to just jump in on people, such as Cole is!!

Heard about Pennant? Drink driving charges, naughty boy!

do you think wenger is gona bring him back to highbury or is he gona leave him to rot in the graveyard that is Elland Road?

The only person who should be able to wear white boots is Alfonso Munoz Perez of Real Betis, he was the first player I ever saw wear non-black boots. He should have taken a patent out on them, would have made a mint :D.

Phil Neville just gets picked just for that one game where he totally played Vieira off the park at the old trafford game last season. Apart from that he hasn't really done much else. As long as Fergie keeps Butt on the bench and plays P.Neville it's alright by me.

He's been doing it all season. I was never really a fan of him but he's excelled in midfield alongside Keane this season. I'd go as far as to say it's won us some matches. Phil is probably our most improved player and he's been rightly keeping Butt on the bench in my opinion.

And lost you some matches. Just look at the Wolves game, he had to get subbed cos he was playing so bad.

Apparently Ferguson thinks Arsenal might go into administration next season and Arsenal will lose the title because we are so determinted to stay unbeaten...the mind games have well and truly started.

Edu has a chance to stake his claim in the team tomorrow with a match winning performance like he did against Boro in the Carling Cup (even though we lost). Cudicini, Crespo and Duff are out tomorrow so that's a boost for us.

Granted, it was a joke but Wiltord has declined as a player. Not fit enough for Arsenal, methinks but was always there for important goals, strangely enough. Heh, ClassicD, I remember Perez. He was at Euro 2000 with Spain was he not? I remember him socring a couple.

Definitely good news. Crespo has always been a player I like and if let go can crush the best of teams. At his best, I would put him on top of Chelsea's striker list.
AW was just going on about how much he admires Duff's world-class play and that Arsenal were poised to bid for him at one stage. I'd agree with him. Two of Chelsea's most potent threats out.

Cuidicini will miss the game also. Cant's say whether I'm pleased after the fatal error at Highbury. ;)

With the likes of Cudicini out who can make miracle saves, Duff's good wing play and Crespo's big potential to recapture his amazing form he showed at Inter, this will give the Arsenal a great advantage especially with Henry back, Vieira and Pires in great form. I've got a sneeky feeling Clichy might score his first goal for Arsenal with a 25 yard thunderbolt.

Haha, I was thinking the exact same thing - like Silvinho and Winterburn before him.

I think it's about time Lehman scored one ;)

If he did, you know we'd hear about it.

"Can Kahn score goals like me?! Yeah, can he? NO! Pick me!"

We'd probably get a vague mention of a 24-year-old girlfriend too.

Timo Should be Germany's nr1 goalkeeper.

He will be sooner or later. It's just unlucky for Lehmann, he's one year younger then Kahn and all throughout his career he had to fight for a place against then - the best keeper on the world. And if Germany were to pick a goalie ahead of Kahn, I'd put my odds on it being Hildebrand rather then Lehmann.

Vieira has become an assist master this season. He very nearly had a goal against Wolves but unselfishly passed it to Henry who poked it into an open net. A goal against Chelsea would be sweet though.

Agoal from anyone would be sweet.

Yeah but a three goal advantage is better for peace of mind, I'm always a bag of nerves when we've only got a one goal lead, especially in the closing stages of a match.

1. You say 'mate' constantly.

2. You think it is perfectly normal to pay over 3.00 for a pint.

3.Anyone not from London is 'wanker'.

4. Anyone from outside London and north of the Watford Gap is a 'Northern Wanker'.

5. You have no idea where the North is.

6. You see All Saints in the Bar Med (again) and find it hard to get excited about it.

7. The countryside makes you nervous.

8. Somebody speaks to you on the tube and you freak out thinking they are a stalker.

9. American tourists no longer annoy you.

10. You talk in postcodes. "God, it was really warm round SW1 the other day".

11. You can't remember the last time you got up to 30 mph in your car..

12. You didn't realise that 'Paddington Green' is REAL.

13. You pay 2.95 for a frigging caramel frigging crapachino Starbucks muck coffee

Oh c`mon Goons, P.Neville is having a great season - stop sticking to the boring old football player cliches - we could all take the piss out of Parlour, but we don`t, he is playing well this season. Just `cause it`s United, you goons find the time to be jealous of us? I couldn`t give a shite about you boys, I enjoy watching you play (when your not fouling). Buck up, and start talking about your proper rivals, like Chelsea and Spurs - that green-eyed monster is so obvious in most of you.
