 LOL..........your not the full shilling matey, Viduka over Larsson, right you are.

FD

Did they play together up there FD?? Obviusly Larsson is a god up there but how do their records match up in celtic shirts?

I like Viduka although his work rate and attitude dont always seem 100% I've never heard of that being labelled at Larsson but at a push with Viduka already being settled and used to The Prem, I'd go for him....

only thing i hate while watching marky is when he's running off the ball, hes got a good couple of steps, then it looks like he got shot, doubles over and tries to catch his breath, not the fastest or man with the most endurance on the squad for sure, but a good pickup for us none the less...

I'm off to Wolves on Friday. Let's hope Henry gets back into scoring mode. He won't get a better chance, although some might say that it's about time someone else went on a scoring mission!

Yeah it's about time Lehman got a goal and when was the last time Jeffers scored. :D I really think we have to stuff them and the we can be above Chelsea for goal diff rather than alphabetical order.

lol lehmans goals per game needs improving IMO.

Do you's play at 3pm??

Chelsea's is an early kickoff so they have the chance to go top if they win.

It's a 12 kick off

Without BS, I have to admit Viduka is a good player, he did his bit when Larsson was out, however he certainly didn't do for Celtic was Larsson did, in the big matches he didn't really shine and when the chips are down he's possibly the worst player to have in your team. However, that's not to say he wouldn't be a good player for anyone, just his attitude stinks.

Put it this way I'm worried how Celtic will perform in Europe without Larsson next season, I never thought like that about Viduka, and wouldn't do so even now if he was still there.

Sorry if we signed Viduka I'd have to ask Mr Wenger "what the fcuk are up to mate?". Viduka is in it for the money and nothing else! As the previous few posts state there are for's and against's for signing Larsson. My personal opinion is that money is better spent elsewhere.

I agree with bits of what you are saying, but do you not agree that we need a 6 yard box player? That is the only thing we miss. I like Viduka cos that is what he is, maybe there is someone else who we could sign. Obviously Van Nistelrooy would be ideal but we ain't gonna get him, Jeffers was supposed to be the answer but he is too lightweight and too injury prone. Any other suggestions then if not Viduka?

i think Viduka is a quality player and not so much in it for the money but wants success. he wasnt complaining when leeds were in the champs league, and just doesnt want to be associated with a relegation team.

what about defoe, if he can get over his temperment problem.

Defoe for £10 million, I'd be up for that! I agree on what you're saying about Viduka when he was in the Champions League, maybe if we had him for a loan period, but that ain't gonna happen either. PS. thought Spurs were unlucky to lose against the scum on Sunday.

apparently wingher has been saying he has no money to spend tho. so i cant see a 10 mill bid for defoe, maybe loan til the end of the season and then some instalments. as for sunday we didnt really deserve a draw, united had it sewn up in the first half.

Castello is a goal machine , Mr Wenger should check him out.

Nah really, Breaks my heart to say this but Larsson would be a great coup for ANY team. Hes still got a good couple of years, He will be FREE. He WILL continue to score wherever he goes. Not only that but for a frontman he is often Celics hardest working player and really does do his fair share of defending. Even me a raving mad Celtic Fan will admit he can also win you an odd penalty in the 'Pires' fashion, so really he would fit in perfect at Arsenal, lol. Him and Henry would be the best partnership in the World IMO.

Saying all that, Up here in Scotland, The reports are saying Newcastle, Monaco and Barcelona are in leading the chase for his signature!

We'll just have to wait and see what Mr Wenger has got up his sleeve. Maybe another Kolo Toure for 150k, but a striker!

The times ive seen celtic play, Larsson is a player in the mold of Henry, he drags it out wide, will put crosses in and create goals, so the two of them together would not be ideal, IMO the arsenal need a poacher.

I agree with Vann, although the two would be still a prominent partnership. I think someone like Ruud Van & Henry/Larsson would be excellent.

FD

TBH Most of Larssons goals are from 10 yards or less, he is a poacher but drags it wide etc because he plays for the whole team and beacuse he is often lacking support from Celtics lazy midfield who besides Petrov are scared to go beyond the strikers!. He is also VERY VERY good in the air, something which Arsenal lack up front, Henry is like 6ft 1 when standing and 4ft 3 when he jumps. I really dont see how any team won't wont him in the summer. He will be on a FREE!

Hummm a pocher....Fillipo Inzaghi!
Not saying hes any good but hes a poacher, lol.

IMO Kluivet would be a good choice not exactly a poacher but I think he would be ideal in the Premiership.

I must say Bergkamp & Kanu have proved to be useful this season, unlike Wiltord. It's about time he got his arse in gear. Can you believe we paid £2.5 million more than we did for Henry!

How about the return of Anelka?!?! After a good start to the season he looks we p*ssed off at City.

Yeah thats what we need, you mentioned a while back about Fergie going for him in the next close season but with Celtic now in the uefa cup there are mumourings of a deal this Jan.

cant c anelka going back to the scum. wiltord look to be playing well last season, and in all honesty i think he is lacking in confidence as whinger doesnt seem to want to play him, cant be good for him really can it?

Still can't see Henke going to England, but you never know. I heard that he's a 40 per day smoker!!

FD

now FD is this true, maybe he's good mates with Barthez?

Supposedly so, what I've been told. He is also meant to be a very nice person too, unlike other old firm stars who have a bit of an attitude, taking time to talk to people and mix with the fans.

FD

Patrick Kluivert on the cheap and Steve Carr would do nicely.

I dont really wanna see Anelka in an Arsenal shirt again, true hes got abillity but hes a whinging ungratefull git whos carrer has pretty much stutterd since leaving us.

I agree with those two, but I doubt it will go ahead!

I agree, after the way he treated us he should never come back. One good come out of it though, we bought Henry!!!!!

Well Stephen Carr hasnt been impressed with the lack of talks so far so i could c him joining the other judas Campbell. just hope it dont happen as he is a large slice of quality in our otherwise shambles of a defence.

Yes he does stand out above Gardner, Richards and Tarico! Just imagine Lehman, Carr, Toure, Campbell and Cole.

Pure quality!!!
