Henry is not going anywhere whilst Wenger is in charge at Highbury.

Damm right mate, and thats how it should be, the guy owes Wenger alot, from being outcast and underated at Juve to the 2nd best players in the world and one of the best strikers in europe, he's come along way and although its his ability it take a manager to have belief in you.

They say loyalty in football only really comes into it with the supporters but a few players are loyal to clubs aswell.

Henry is one, Tony Adams another. For your lot read Bryan Robson, Scholes, Neville Bros etc

Exactly mate, im getting sick of this Madrid thing, like everytime a good player emerges they wanna poach them, our respective clubs are perfect examples of Managers actually managing the club, you could reel of a good list of players that we're either kids, unknown or not rated that highly before arriving to Arsenal/United and would now walk into any top team in Europe. Unitl Madrid do that, for all their European success they dont deserve as much praise, as a club, yes the players are all fantastic but have come from other clubs, Raul included.

I have to agree with you 110% there Van. It makes me wonder why Jorge Valdano moans about Ch£l$ki not being diplomatic and all, and not following "proper" channels in trying to get interested players. Yet, wasn't it Real who tend to court all football agents in trying to tap up some players? who are they trying to fool?

Yup he was a trainee at Atletico Madrid. It was like if Arsenal bought Sol Campell from Spurs. Oh wait a minute, we did

Well, looks like another win for Arsenal's reserves ;)

It would be nice to win the Worthless cup too :)

Arsenal for Quadruple!

Would be fantastic mate, and I can really see it happenning. Well at least we know the FA Cup will be staying at Highbury, and the League title will be coming back, but the European Cup could be tricky. :D

There were some very goo players on show considering not one of them played in the starting 11 on Sun.

I thought we handled ourselves well, although Keown and Tavaredis (or whatever his name is) did make a few errors, but Kanu is proving solid and reliable this season.

Would like to see Spurs get through and set up a semi final or final match. There first XI against our 2XI. Although we would probably put a few more senior players out. That would really finish Spurs off!

To be honest I thought WBA were unlucky not to get a least 1 penalty and the replay showed that there goal wasnt offside.

A semi with the scum would do nicely though then beating Chelsea in the final ;)

Yeah the one where Keown just came charging it, was a certain penalty, but nevermind.....

I only really saw the first half, because I was too busy trying to remove a fucking virus. :(

I see tonights results going as follows:

Chelsea beating Villa and Boro beating Spurs.

Then Arsenal will draw Boro, and Chelsea will draw Bolton.

This would set up a Arsenal - Chelsea final. I couldn't predict the team line ups, but I reckon Wenger would rest Henry, but have him on the bench!

Might not be anything in this... but was in the lift at work, and these 2 guys were talking. One of them is Charlie George's family friend. But they are saying the Arse are lining up Defoe for £8 mill...

I don't believe it in a second... but thought i'd put my 2pence on here just in case..

Yeah the guardian mentioned it the other, its possible, Defoe is the sort of player that arsenal are missing IMHO.

Defoe no doubt has talant and hes English but I think we could do with a big old style centre forward to put up front and bang the balls up to when things arnt going are way,Kanu's tall and gangly but he isnt really a proper target man .Mark Viduka perhaps??

Well whoever it is, its something thats been lacking from the arsenal team for some time.

Yeah I agree, Mark Viduka would be a much better signing. They guy would score fucking bucketloads of goals, with his feet and head. We hardly ever score headed goals, but im sure with Mark we would get plenty of headed goals. :)

C'mon Spurs you have to win tonight, so we can rip you to shreads in the final with our youth team. :D

Spurs out, Chelsea out.

We don't need anyone from the first XI to win this Cup

Were gonna win the fucking quad.

Has any team in the world ever won four competitions in one season?

Don't know, but the only possibility would be Manchester United. As far as I know the only leagues with 2 cups are England and Scotland.

Manchester didn't win the League Cup in 1999, but maybe a Man U fan can tell us if they ever won the quad ;)

Too bad we didn't win the Charity Shield

Yup, I have heard this one too.

The other one doing the rounds at Highbury on Sunday was that we will let Leeds keep Pennant, in exchange fo Alan Smith and £3 million.

There was another rumour about us signing Rivaldo until the end of the season, mainly to play the Bergkamp role away in the Champions League. This sounds like a load of old tosh though.

Who really does care about the "mickey mouse" Carling Cup anyway? Apart from the smaller clubs.
