For the good of the game Arsenal have to give Manure a right good dicking today
Ha Ha Ha! It had to be US that would stop Arsenal - and Rooney to drive the final nail into the coffin, and get his first Premiership goal! What a day, despite the weather. As for the end of the game, what a bunch of stroppy kids the Arsenal players are! YOU LOST! ADMIT DEFEAT. Also, we were the first Premiership team to win 1000 points today, thanks to the 3 points we won against you. \\:D/

didnt have to say that ninja, it was a great match none the less.

good effort on 49 unbeaten however, cant wait for utd-arse at highbury

Yeah was a good result for United, they needed it.

They needed and wanted it more.

But i think its fair to say Mike Riley will be in bed tonight looking at his Manchester United posters under his Manchester United duvet, with his head on his Manchester United pillow, and will have a wet dream about Manchester United winning the treble, and all the Manchester United players jacking off on his face.

what about Mark Halsey when he gave, then didnt give Fulham a penalty and then went on to disallow a perfectly good Fulham goal against you lot

now there's a one sided refs performance

Rooney played for the penalty, and got awarded it. Sol should have known better - we also didnt get awarded the Ashley Cole foul on Ronaldo in the box, a definate penalty. It all evened out in the end. But, fook it, we beat the Gooners, not bad for an "overrated sack of no-hopers" or whatever the Arsenal faithful have been on about over the last few months.

my honest take is he won the penalty, yes WON!

Deep down maybe not the best game in the history of football but it felt like it was gonna take something like that to win the game, otherwise it was very tight.

Overall it felt like a draw was coming.

I was quite pleased with the Arsenal game, we was away and at old trafford and we played quite well in spells and had some very good possesion.

Never mind hey, 49 league run aint half bad.

need to put a L on the end of your sig mate ;)

in all fairness though the run you went on was incredible, i dont think we'll see that again for a long, long time if we ever do
just glad we ended it one short of the half century :D

oh yeah forgot to mention, I missed the first half but just watched the highlights from BBC and I have to say the VN tackle on Ashly Cole looked very, very bad.

no doubt several clips of tonights match will be replayed again and again with scrutiny.

just so we can get one thing settled:

'Rooney told my players he had not been touched,' fumed Wenger. 'There is a deep feeling of injustice among my players because it is quite clear there was no contact. It feels like we have been robbed.

just so that you lot know that the result of tonights match is not to blame rooney for diving, for he could've/should've been booked, however, it should be 5-10 window repairmen trying to mend Mike Riley's windows from showers of bricks flying through his house when he's sleeping.

Well it had to happen eventually, I am not going to get stuck into the finer details, people can make their own conclusions with regard to the various decisions. I was quite happy with how we played, and felt we were the better team up until "that" penalty incident. On another day Utd would have been down to 10 maybe even 9 men at halftime, I would have like to see them try to win the game then. Its a testament to our run that it took something like that to finally stop us.

We are still top and still in a fantastic position, a position which all the other teams would love to be in. Lets look forward now to our next game against Southampton, hopefully we can get back on track with a win.

lol at "0 unbeaten"

Wenger wants to start a new run, lets make it a half century this time, and I dont mean matches.

I was amazed. In the post match interview with Arsene Wenger,he actually SAW that there was no contact between Sol Campbell and Rooney!! Wow! Thats amazing innit? He SAW it! Must be those new contacts he bought,or those telescopic binoculuars he borrowed from Pat Rice.Freakin hell,Sir Alex didnt saw the incident!(blind old fool)Bottomline....Guys...ARSENE WENGER SAW IT!! I was amazed.

Ha ha you are funny mate!! When they asked Fergie about the penalty incident he said he "didn't see it". Which means he didn't think it was one but didnt want to say that.

Well goons, although I dont buy into this "greatest ever club side" bullshit, BUT 49 games unbeaten is a great achievment and probley wont be done for along time, if ever.

Shame you's had to lose so ungracefully, but it was always gonna be us that beat you.

Duh,and you would think,i didnt know that?..He was just being polite and professional.Didnt you noticed his cheeky smile? Hahaha, that was classic.

Ha ha, we don't mind losing when we've been outplayed, but when the ref makes 3/4 big decisions against us (harshly in our opinion) then yeah we have a right to feel agreived. But thats football, we will be back. I think the win papers over the cracks at Utd, still a good side but not a patch on us at the moment.

So when Wenger does it, hes being blind. When Fergie does it hes being polite and proffessional!!! Take your blinkers off mate.

well we've all seen our teams play games that we feel hard done by, its life.

I think you's had more of the ball but didnt do much with it, Henry went AWOL (again) and you had players that if they had played football as much as they whinged then the result may have been different. IMHO.

At the mo you's are still the better team but we're getting there and will be back in our rightful place very soon.....

I think you sum it up there why Utd are hated so much, arrogance. Being Champions is no teams given right, you have to earn it. Lets see if you do this season....

At last ARSEnal beat , ARSEne Wenger defeated and ARSEley Cole on the loosing side 3 things in common :)
