If Bergy plays a blinder this season, he could be convinced to stay on 1 more year...The way he is playing at the moment would suggest he has plenty left in the tank.
 
I almost cried when i saw Pires come off the bench. I mean its just wrong that your allowed to have PIRES on the BENCH. Have some morals man!

As for Bergy i agree with you guys on that one he was emense yesterday

they don't show PL over here,and it sucks.sounds like it was one amazing game :)
 
What an amazing game yesterday - hats off to both teams for putting on such a great display.

My only critisism would be the quality of the goals - they were poor to say the least ;)
 
i thought boro was trash in defense, reziger used all day long, i think eighou and southgate were available, boro would have held that lead.... Lehman is a horrible keeper, i wouldnt be surprised if he is benched soon

First half we were good in defence, we kept it quite tight and had our fair share of luck. Reizieger had a good game in my opinion for someone who had a shoulder injury and has had something like 5days in training with us since joining us. As for Southgate and Ehiogu they were both injured but i agree if we had them we would have got something out of the game, possibly only a draw mind i dont know.

As for Lehmann he was class :mrgreen:

Secondly, Whoever asked me that.....I live in the city, upperwest side, I went to watch Man U v Juventus @ Giants Stadium and I headed down to Soldiers field to watch a Celtic game, I really hope the bring the champs out here too next season.

Thirdiliddity, That game was just out of this world yesterday. as Noted noted earlier, it just makes me proud to be an Arsenal fan. I cried yesterday, it just means that much. Hats off, maybe even pants off to Boro. What a team, what a game. I cried with a frog yesterday after the game, then I got messed up, had about 30 Budweisers and a few shots after. What a day. Arsenal elevate my life.

You can go to BigSoccer.com and they have links to BiTorrent downloads of games in one of their threads. Search "official BiTorrent" and you should find the thread. I have to imagine someone will put this game up there.

Ars fans, it is scary that you guys can look so good without Viera this early in the season. Bergkamp is a genius with amazing knowledge and vision. he will be a great coach someday, you have to think. Reyes looks to be a rock star this year. Weaker foot, my ass!

BTW - in the USA, this game is being shown on Tuesday night on FSW. Check it out, yanks.
 
probably the most exciting game of the year so far. i've never felt such a rollercoaster of emotions. the fourth goal was unbelievable. i was still in mid air celebrating the third. i was lst for words

It wasn't on last night ghazi. Last night was the Chelsea/Palace game. Its on tonight though @ 9.30.

Well, going for yet another record tonight. I have Stead and Henry on my Fantasy team. I'm hoping Cygan can work his magic again so Stead can bang in 3 and then Arsenal can come back with Henry and bang in 4.
 
He's done it again. Jose Reyes scored again, Henry added 2 more assists. Is he setting out to break hiw own assists record? He's got about 6 in the first 3 matches.
 
Well we just keep on going, this record will stand for years and years I am sure. The chant of "Were making History" summed it up perfectly, how far can we go? The Man Utd match in October would be the 50th game of our run, so lets hope we get that far!!
 
I can`t wait till we meet you this season. If you are unbeaten by the, and we stop the run, you can imagine the headlines now . . . . :D

That's what people were saying when we got Lokomotiv and Kiev.

Travelling to Greece is going to be damn draining. I think we can get all six points of PSV though. We give them a right whopping away from home two seasons ago. Rosenborg will be tricky - they have nothing to lose and away from home they could take points from us but, ultimately, we should be top at the end. I think Pana will come with us.
 
How did Spector look in his first season game?? Did he start? Where? In the US he was playing primarily as the left defender in a 3-5-2, but I dont think you all are really using that formation.
 
Ghazi did a boo-boo. We only have one American youth, and his name is Frankie Simek. He was made reserve team captain last year for a while.

Not so sure, pana is a bit overrated, you should take all six points from the clashes...
On the other hand psv will go through, they've got a good team this year, with van bommel and de jong improved and beasley and farfan as new players... you could even lose in holland... ;)

Arsenal have reportedly made a €4m (£2.69m) bid for Valencia forward Miguel Angulo.

The Highbury club are said to have sent their offer by fax yesterday and the Spanish club are now considering the offer.

Marca say that there is already an agreement between the player and the North London club.

Angulo currently has one-year remaining on his contract at Valencia.

Don't need him. He's supposedly being lauded as Ali's replacement for the injury. Well, I don't want a 27-year old 4th striker for a max of 4 months, thank yu very much. Spend the dosh on a new defender, as Wenger already hinted.
 
Angulo is crap, I wouldn't want him even if he came on a Bosman. Not only is he crap, he's also a total cheat and a wanker. I have never doubted Wenger when it comes to signings but if he's seriously thinking about Angulo then I don't know what to think. :l

I watched this match live.
Arsenal were brilliant in the first and took the foot off the pedal in the second and Lauren should have been sent off twice. Norwich deserved their goal despite the penalty being a dive. Henry was brilliant agian with two more assists and his header was a great goal too.
