3 pens is odds-on at the bookies apparently, with VD getting a 6.0 across the board at evens.
 
If things don't even themselves out at the end of the season then you can moan but for god sake its only 1 game gone, referees will make mistakes, yes there are instances when players go unpunished ( and thats including Arsenal players eg A. Cole) and sometimes players get sent off for no apparent reason but thats football.

I don't think the decisions are pre-meditated (sp :oops: )
 
But they've been getting of with it far too long now. It's about time people started opening up about the whole situation. Thats the thing, you say anything bad about the FA and you get fined. It's a wonder they aint pulling out the FA Cup again, so they can swan off to Brazil again.

You could be right! It certainly wasn't Man Utd's idea to go to Brazil, it was for the benefit of the FA. Still think Campbells attitude stinks, taking the huff and considering quitting England! What a BAWBAG! Get on with it ya big wuss!

You could be right! It certainly wasn't Man Utd's idea to go to Brazil, it was for the benefit of the FA. Still think Campbells attitude stinks, taking the huff and considering quitting England! What a BAWBAG! Get on with it ya big wuss!

Thats one thing Campbell aint a big wuss, he boxes with Lennox Lewis on a regular basis you know.

I'm expecting a win for us tomorrow against Boro', as I can remember a few good wins there over the years:

1999-2000: Middlesboro 1-6 Arsenal
2000-2001: Middlesboro 0-1 Arsenal
2001-2002: Middlesboro 0-4 Arsenal
2002-2003: Middlesboro 0-2 Arsenal

But ya never know with Arsenal.. :l

Well i think were going to be in for a tough game tommorow, especially with Mendieta making his debut, but with our recent results against Boro I think we'll win 2-1.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is considering a move for Aston Villa defender Olof Mellberg.
Wenger said last week he wouldn't be seeking cover for the suspended Sol Campbell before the fall of next week's transfer deadline.

However, the Sunday Mirror says Wenger is set to make a move for Swedish international Mellberg if he continues to be frozen out by Villa boss David O'Leary.

I hope this is true mate because i really like Mellberg, he's strong and quick and thats exactly what we need at the moment.
 
damn straight zico,mellberg is one hell of a defender.but looks like not gonna happen as he is currently playin against liverpool and is the captain of villa.........

Fooking fantastic victory this (sorry BoroBoyz). Im really impresed with Gilberto this season, it looks like he's turning into a really great player now and scored a fantastic goal today. It's never easy going to Boro as last year proved with only 2 home defeats to us and Villa.

TOP OF THE LEAGUE!!!!! :mrgreen:
 
Yeah with a full strength side Arsenal are probably the most efficient team in the league. To put boro (who arent normally a bad side) out of the game after about 25 mins is impressive. Lehmann's a good keeper, esp at shot stopping and crosses. Shame he cant kick to save his life, ur gonna have to have the full backs taking his goal kicks at this rate ;). With one or two cheap signings like Coloccini and Elber the gunners would have an outstanding chance, as it is tho with the league, cups and champions league their key players could get costly injuries / tiredness.

I thought Arsenal were great yesterday but i felt Boro contributed to that, apart from the goals of course! Boro couldn't hold the ball and their passing was shocking!! Every time Arsenal went forward they looked like scoring.

I agree, Boro were awful - probably the worst performance I've seen yet this season (I haven't seen the Wolves games, so don't flame for that). They were practically giving the game to Arsenal, and the first goal was the keeper's fault - he should have pushed it out to corner or something.

It was a good day for Arsenal, they showed all the flair you could expect from them, but in all fairness, I don't think Arsenal will get many games as easy as this one.
