Yeah they were singing his name but "you'll never score Henry" isn't really praise is it.

GUNNERS ARE FREAKY — NEVILLE

Manchester United's Phil Neville has described Arsenal's unbeaten run to the Premiership title as "a freak".

Neville and his Old Trafford team-mates have been left in the Gunners' wake, scrapping for second place with this weekend's opponents Chelsea.

And the 26-year-old said: "Arsenal have had a phenomenal season — it's a freak of nature. They deserve the plaudits but I cannot see it happening again."

ALways the Nevilles have to have some remark on our game, if it aint phil its that tart gary.

Anyways guys Ive spent the last two days watching my Centurions 100 goals Bergkamp and Henry, woot!!!! flipping excellent goals !!!

Then I watched 501 Arsenal goals, OMG!!!!! Some beautiful goals, great to see some Wright goals, almost forgotten what he was like, anyways to my surprise this one Arsenal player stood out for me more than anyone else, David 'Rocky' Rocastle !!!

And also to my surpise I couldnt believe just how bloody good Anelka looked back in the day, he looks hungry, tigerish, and up for it scoring some cracking goals, nothing like the player he has become today, what a shame, looking at his goals he looks like a better finisher then Henry today!!

which is why Real Madrid payed so much for him, pity did Real or anyone else know he wouldn't perform at his best under other managers - Wenger seems to bring the best out of players (ala Henry, Toure for example)

yeah looking back we've been pretty lucky with our strike force over the years.

anelka just seams to be going though the motions now, shame i think he have become an arsenal legend if he'd stayed......... but what can you do he got greedy

I was lucky enough to see lots of Rocky's games for us and he was an unbelievable player, the way he used to drift past players if they weren't there was class. I was gutted when he left and by all accounts so was he. Once a Gooner, always a Gooner. He missed much of our 91 title win with an injury but came back next season in Central midfield and was a revelation. Why we sold him I never know.

The best team ever??

Nah...

I know you goons like ya stats, heres a few..

the draw against Portsmouth (how bad are the pompey fans) stops them from beating Uniteds 91pts (38 game record).

they can't beat Uniteds winning margin.

they would need to score 27 goals in the next 2 games to beat Uniteds 97.

they need to score +8 in the next 2 games to beat our +52 GD.

So worthy champions you maybe, United you aint!!

Go on Vann, get back to your team that's currently on life support, one bad season from being dead!

Well, only 1 game left for that unbelievable achievement :D

Although I must say watching Arsenal is very boring since they secured the title.

hehe true. But then again, when you complete the job (winning the title) it is hard to give your all anymore. What people don't realize is that Arsenal players give their utmost BEST when it is required. It looks like magic, especially when the luck is there, but really you only have to look at the Henry performance in the days after we lost in the CL to Chelsea. That is a man, driven and giving his all. No need to do that now especially as the French connection (Pires, Vieira, Henry) want to save energy and avoid injury for the Euro 2004. In any case, i'm jus happy we didn't lose :)

ill have you know that this season before he had his 6 game spell out he had scored more goals for city at that point in the season than he had in his entire playing career! ;)

Well Done Thierry on winning the Football Writers Footballer of the Year award for the 2nd year running with an astonishing 87% of the votes. The first player to win it 2 years running. Thoroughly deserved and here's to a hat-trick of wins next year!!

Lampard was 2nd and Vieira 3rd. Congrats to you two as well

You know the irony for the last game of the season will be that Martin Keown will get injured warming up before coming on and that Dickhov scores a last minute wonder strike to take the 'un' out of beaten....

I just want to know where he finds the un in beaten.

Answers on a postcard.

LOL, good spot there Nicky

Lets be honest though chaps, these scousers and mancs who are desperate for us to lose on Saturday are just jealous because we will have beaten them to it.

They may have won more titles than us, but they have never done it unbeaten. If we do do it then it is something that can never to toppled only equalled and I for one will be a very proud Gooner come Saturday if we manage to do it.

Just thought about it and Arsenal have really good young players.
Culd make a whole team of em.

----------Van Persie------Aliadiere--------

Reyes------Cesc------Bentley----Pennant

Clichy-----Senderos----Toure----Hoyte

-----------------Taylor----------------------

Shitty formation but still...promising :D

Nah, no one can take it away from you's.

Banter and bullshit aside its a massive achievment and is obviously Wengers holy grail, its the same with us and The Treble, no one will ever do that and its something we can boast and be proud about forever.

Gunners, we salute you!!

Indeed. 2 results oing our way and we would have had an FA cup final and a campions league semi. However it didn't materialise but I think someone will win he treble agin.
