well gotta hand it to birmingham a great defensive performance from them....


Anyways......... the sub bench antics were hilarious today, Wenger pulled of an amazing gag, he had Keown warm up and then after having already used two subs (pires and ali) he told Parlour to get ready to come on, and Keown couldnt believe it !!!!

hahaha and Keown having a laugh pretended to grab wenger by the neck!!


as well all know Keown needs to play in the last 3 games to get his premiership medal, and it was funny as hell seeing it all happen.
 
I think Wenger actually said it was Raymond Parlour's idea about that. He said Ray is very 'creative'.

I keep saying it and everytime I see Henry and Reyes play together I have to wonder if they will make a great strike partnership. The link up play or lack there-of was very dissapointing today. Will it take years or are they just too similar in what they're about!?
 
give reyes a chance how many games has he actully started with henry and wasnt he playing on the left handside most of the game!
 
yeah ruffneck I agree Reyes looked way outta it, so many pass's he got wrong and stuff, the link up play was non-existent with Henry and you could see it on Henrys face!


BUt Reyes is young, just started half way thru a season and has come from Spain, not everyone fits in instantly, that includes our other greats like henry himself and Pires.


I felt Reyes needed to be a little stronger in the game under pressure he kept falling over and getting pushed, anyways let him develop he will be good.


Thier was one chance where I think Toure was involved in the whole move and Reyes crossed it way to early, he does that too much.


Anyways I was very pleased to see Toures darting forward runs, i think he great at doing that.
 
dunno, henry toke quite awhile to settle down period though
 
giuly may be intrested, but show me a attacking player that isn't . we've played the best attacking football in europe/world this year.
but do we need them?
 
I read on Sublime Football website that Hatem Trabelsi of Ajax was being linked to Arsenal. Arsenal would poach for him if he becomes available on a Bosmon free transfer. That is excellent, with the young guns coming through the ranks at highbury, we should have injury cover for every position. Another good CB would also be nice (Mexes?), with Keown set to leave in the summer and Cygan not good enough. We'll see.

Hope Bentley and Aliadiare impress tomorrow at Portsmouth. BTW I have to start watching the women gunners now as it seems they are dominating their league as well (they won the FA Cup 3 nill today)! hehe.

Reyes' play didn't look in sync with Henry at all for sure but I think they need time to gel and I hope they have a successfull off and pre-season. It would be interesting to see where our new Dutch signing will fit in and I think Bently will be loaned for some experience. What you guys think of Pennant?

Trabelsi has been linked with many topclubs, Juve on of them ;).

A lot of the clubs willl pull out though, if the court will decide that Trabelsi will not to be free at the end of the season.

Mexes has also been linked with many topclubs.

bently is def to go out on loan next year, recon he'll prod go to westham or QPR. i'm looking forward to pennat coming back he'll shake things up for ljunberg and parlour. we all know he's got the skill but hopefully he'll have learnt his lesson and behave himself now
 
i dont think pennant is anywhere near good enough for you, i think it will be another season on loan or he will be sold!

What are you talking about? Pennant has been great for Leeds this season, I think it's the right time to breed him into the first team for next season.
 
hes shone in a crap team and to be honest he hasnt done that much does that make him good enough for you?, izzet shone for leicester so hes good enough aswell?, thats my point! he doesnt even suit the arsenal style of football! Either way unless he plays regular, hes not going to want to stay!

Reyes and Henry's link up was much better tonight....it gives me great encouragement for the future! I especially loved the way Henry was trying and succeeded in playing Reyes through.

I hate when we draw (guess i'm used to us winning) but the unbeaten record is still intact!
 
Certainly agree with youabout hating to draw. :D It was a good game though, and what about Lehman. Monster performance in my opinion. I has made some mistakes but definately does not get the credit he deserves. I hope he remains numero uno next season but he gets a handle on his temper. ;)
 
Got soaked at the game last night, Pompeys ground is the worst the Prem by far. The toilets were a joke, the was about 10 gents loos for 3000 people. The scrum at half-time was unbelievable. No roof either on the away end which is unheard of these days, it was like stepping back in time to the 1980's, the days before the Premiership.

Great atmosphere though, the Pompey fans are a credit to their team. The songs they were singing showed a great sense of humour. It was a great match and a brilliant advert for English football.

Can we do it? 2 to go!!

Anyway good performance from Jose and Bentley showed some flashes of brilliance.

The futures bright, the futures RED!!!!!!!
