ArmA 2: for PC and Xbox 360.

It was released way before it was ready, basically years of development without any publisher financial input had left our coffers a little bare, so we had to release the DE/CZ versions when they were something like 0.90 rather than the 1.00 you hope for, so obviously we have some bad PR from that to overcome :)

What's the rest of your spec? And what settings are you running it on? Presumably you're using 1.01beta now right? :)

quadcore q6700@2,66ghz, 4gb of ddr2-2800 corsair ram , running on windows 7 rc1. and yup, beta 101 :)

i got an i7 quad core at 3.6ghz with 3gb ddr3 ram pumped with a 260gtx 216 core version to boot.

Hope that i can play this game at max details on 1680res

i dont think its even been official confirmed to come out on the 360. there hasnt been no media for the console version. if there is one, then the 360 version is a long way into being released.

i highly doubt they will just release the 360 out of literately nowhere without no media being released and no reviews or even previews being written about the console version

What about this ASUS Radeon 4870X2 Tri-Fan nice bang for buck. :)

Seems to spank a 4890 in majority of tests and especially at high res.

i would hardly call that spanking and for an extra £40-£50 over a 4890 that is a single bound GPU as a posed to the dual GPU 4870X2 that runs hotter then the 4890, I would not bother mate especialy in this weather

Is there any chance in hell it would run on the absolute lowest settings on a GeForce 6600? I can just about get away with running modern games like FIFA 09 on the lowest settings. (I know what the answer will be but I have to ask :()

Thats why i said majority of tests have a look at some of others far cry 2 abit of leap. Everyone knows Crysis brings even top end systems to its knees so its of no surprise that there is not big gain.

This Asus has 3 fans for cooling hits 60 degrees max on full load so i read hardly that bad.

Wow does that mean we can have WWII dog fights too...

Of course, if you build it they will come :)

I haven't found anyone yet who admits to trying with such a card, will endeavour to keep looking, PC demo hopefully will be mid to end of June so at least you can try with that :)
