I'm pretty burnt out trying to respond to simplistic feedback that doesn't take into account the core mechanics of what is being worked with. The Game is simply too simple
You just stay to the truth. No need to bring up something where you not 100% stands behind because of what you have explained above imo. I appreciate it. And tbh still having huge fun to play with 6.0. It’s still a huge game changer for me. Only with minor flaws. I mean really little minus compared to all those major breakthroughs you have done, though. 🙂 Some People never be satisfied with what we have here. Or just didn’t get what’s possible and what’s not by simply the limitations of the game itself. Needs to create a whole Anth-Engine to succeed. 😄Also, this is just a general update for those waiting for a new version - unfortunately I just can't guarantee it will come. There are some areas that I'm actively exploring in regards to the core base, but until I can make some proper progress in those fundamental areas I don't want to release anything. I'm really trying to learn and explore if there's any way to remove the CB jockey for example, as this would be a pretty major leap for what might be possible for EAFC. If we could fix this, then we may be able to slow the game down properly without breaking it. At the moment, the amount we can truly slow down (whilst retaining any resemblance of smoothness, balance and defensive awareness) is minimal with all things considered.
I'm not confident at all as I've spent hours and hours and hours working on it already with no real success, but I figure it's worth putting my energy into something that has proved to be a major issue for a number of years now that the new game on the horizon.
He said the same thing in my gameplay thread. He actually provided no context at all other than he was playing as Celtic... Celtic, the best team in the Scottish league by some margin! Trying to make this game ACTUALLY difficult AND BALANCED is an incredibly difficult job when we're fighting against particular mechanics of the game such as 1v1 and a system that strongly ties SPEED with BEHAVIOUR. I've said all of this a million times already.
The aim of this mod was never to make this the perfect game. It's to learn the files and create an improvement in areas that we can.
It's pretty tiring explaining the same things over and over again.

Suffer from his dynamic?? The default game isn´t "dynamic"! The default game where you compare about is just simply "OVERPOWERED". Did you ever play Soccer in real life, I mean in a team? Playing every saturday or sunday a League match under serious conditions? It doesn´t matter if it´s country low leagues or upper leagues. The base of Soccer in real life is more or lesser dynamic when you know what I mean. When you compare that with default FIFA games, FIFA is much more unrealistic than any other Sports game compared to his real life counterpart.Why in your mod, did you make the LB/R1 slow? and if it adjusts to be a little faster what will this impact on the game?? because I feel that physical contact and simple dribbling to try to move the ball a little suffers too much from this dynamic
I'm not saying you're lying man. I'm also not saying you have to like my mod or post scores. We all have our own personal style and taste - and that's fine. You call Danielz the most difficult - I've played it and I personally don't, but that’s ok. I just find your mods and that of Paulv too simple for my taste. I find it easy to penetrate or overflow into the surface.
For the moment the mod which for me offers the best defense and that of Danielz.
I'm probably too direct. The real reason is that I recognize the strong potential of your mod however I am frustrated by the little challenge it offers me.
No interest for me to lie. I will consider posting my scores.
Ah that is information that is helpful. I never use that type of dribbling, so I didn't realise it was like that. I just tested now and it's not supposed to be that slow at all. All Danielz mod does, is it decreases animation speed for all the animations and decrease sprint speed/acceleration for all the players. It destroys any player individuality which is why you are struggling with that mod. Your Celtic will play just as well as any other team in Scottish league which is not realistic. But if you want no player individuality, then this mod is not for you.I'm not trying to offend anyone, and I'm not spitting on your work either. @mahanddeem @fdezxaquin Guys, you can ignore the MM warning. Because Gameplay mod from @Anth James didn´t touch Legacy Files, so it works for every TU. Like you can see/read in OP here is a screenshot from Anth´s description below.Same problem here. Do I have to simply ignore it?
Secondly, Im new installing mods. The only step is to import and aply Anths mod or should i change more things ?

Truth is, this is a much longer conversation but it's not really one I want to get into. All I can say is that I don't particularly agree - and that decisions have been made purposefully for a variety of reasons. They aren't anywhere near as simple as they're being presented. Play with what works best for you.Effectively the Danielz mod reduces the animation speed as well as the speed and acceleration of ALL PLAYERS. So the gap between a fast and slow player is always respected.
He is also very strong in defensive positioning. Two lines and very little space. This greatly complicates the openings.
Surely not the most fun gameplay but the most realistic for me.
The AI makes far fewer ridiculous passing errors than on certain gameplay, however it is less varied. It doesn't center enough and doesn't play direct enough, unlike your two attacking modes, which are great.
Best to talk about that in his discord or something guys. It’s the same parameters changed, just a different interpretation/different goal and ultimately a different outcome.What parameters does Danielz modify to reduce the speed and acceleration of the players?

Si te refieres a cómo puedes verlo en el juego, entonces: Generalmente es fácil de ver. La velocidad del juego disminuye desde el punto en que pateas la pelota en el partido o incluso el kick-off de la IA. Además de eso, hay algunas otras pruebas significativas. Como: Verás que la IA ataca de una manera realista, debes pasar la pelota mucho más a través de tus propias líneas, a veces es mejor cambiar los sitios. Además, la velocidad del jugador depende más de los atributos del jugador. No se puede superar el mediocampo o la defensa de la IA corriendo a lo largo de las alas sin el "contacto" de la defensa o el centro del campo de la IA.
Juego físico mucho más intensivo ahora. También las animaciones del jugador se benefician de ello. Supongo que por ahora eso te da una visión general de cómo está activo el mod. :-)
Y sí, no juegues con la configuración del control deslizante, por favor. Si no usaste la configuración recomendada (toda la predeterminada), rompes el mod y encima toda tu experiencia de juego. El mod está diseñado para el nivel legendario, con velocidad de juego normal y controles deslizantes predeterminados (todos 50/50).
Ahora debería ser realmente difícil vencer a la IA. ¡Que te diviertas! Siempre puedes pedir ayuda aquí. La comunidad apoya a todos. ; Como

Also some feedback. Currently with V5 as i see the v6 literally imposible for me and a lot of speed in the gameplay.

Reminds me often on a billboard which I used to play previously when I was younger. Just 2 hits on the right button and the "round one" is in the goal or billboard gate. Tbh I don´t feel the mod here is steal dynamic from the game. It´s setting the dynamic just to an real level. What you are aiming for? Seeking a realistic gameplay or do you miss just the default gp. Yeah the mod brings speed limit, but that´s what the default game needs for an honest attempt to be a little bit a real football simulator. When you are out for a more dynamic gp where dribbling easily overcome the AI defender to easy score goals than don´t use a gameplay mod.
Yeah the mod changes FIFA 23 not into FIFA 23 light, the mod changes the game into something new imo. Do you tried Paul´s mod or Hels mod or Hatesince97 gameplay mod. Generally they all want the same, a more realistic but still to fun play Footy game. I am not into gp edit modding but I hardly guess the first thing is from all those Author´s to give the game an respective game/Ball/dribbling speed.
Maybe you should try some other gameplay attempts to fullfill your needs. Test all of them, there are others outside from that Forum to give a try.
Because @Anth James answer on your question here why he made LB/R1 that slow will not change your experience with the mod or even he will increase or making changes related to 1 or 2 critism on his Vision of his own mod. Because the majority on comments I read about his mod reviews that the mod make the right changes related to speed, AI and own Defense team behaviour and of course increases the general difficulty of the game.
Me myself fight and bite currently to 2. Bundesliga in Germany. It´s challenging, frustrating to be League Position 8 after Season halftime. But you know what, I enjoy right that. Other than your 20th Season in any FIFA leading the Table after 20 games with 15 points above the second place team. Which I experience too much in the last FIFA years, though.
