Anth’s FIFA 16 Mods

Hey @Anth James, do you know what's the purpose of musedata-default_fe.big in the camera mod other than musedata match file, which has the edited zoom and height values if any? Do I have to use both of them in order for the camera mod to take effect or something? Just enlighten me. :)

And oh, by the way, I'm back playing FIFA 16 :) [Still on FIP v5.2, I love to do 21/22 season]
Hey! I think it's just the menu camera files. It's not necessary!

Good to see you're back on 16. I've just come back again to install the new patch and I'm getting hooked again too haha. I was playing a lot of PES 2021, and I do want to give it more of a chance but there's just something so engaging about 16's gameplay that just isn't there on PES 2021. Especially off the ball, you can't ever really work to block passing lanes when everything is just so wide open all the time.

@Anth James what is your fifa 16 slider?
I'm pretty much playing default aside from powerbar on 60 and with my BETA 2.0 ball physics. I think I was experimenting with a couple of very minor adjustments to keep the wings more protected, FB at 40 and possibly something else. Let me check and get back to you on that soon.

@Anth James What's the difference between your 3.5 Beta Ball Physics and 2022 Edition? I can see that the date of modification of 3.5 Beta Ball Physics is 27th of August and 2022 Edition one is 20th of August. So, the newest one is 3.5 Beta.
2022 edition is just BETA 3.5. I found that to be the best overall in terms of improving smoothness and pure ball physics without changing much in the core gameplay experience.

I still also like 2.0 and it's similar (it just has 1 additional value compared to 2.0). It has a bit more of an impact in the overall gameplay as it makes physical interactions a little different and the ball behaves ever so slightly differently (which is a good or a bad thing depending on your taste).

I will put both of them in the same download this week so people can pick option a or b, I just haven't had a chance yet.

Mate, I am testing ultimate ball physics and I must say in combination with 1.00 is really awesome!

It's really fantastic to play, it gives so much randomness on the pitch, and the game feels more "live".

Currently, I am testing Option A. It is so good in combination with Supernova Gameplay, and a few edited sliders.

Can you please share Supernova Gameplay?

Goodnight folks.
I used userinstantreplay camera as gameplay camera. The broadcast camera of the white hart lane in the pause menu replay is this. Why can't i get it when i choose white hart lane with the userinstantreplay??

I can't use this cl.ini if i'm on the FIP patch right? I mean..i can but it's not the best solution cause the cl.ini is based on another db or am i wrong?
You can use it! You can use every cl.ini file you want. What you can see currently in the cl.ini are the strings from FIP Patch. You can easily keep those strings and copy paste the gameplay related strings below with a space between the strings. Save it and close and you can play with the gameplay you have received.

HELLO FOLKS
I wanted to tell you that, thanks to the knowledge tools that i learned from @papinho81, @Anth James and @nikolapfc89 in recent months I've been working on a personal project for fifa 16 that I'd be willing to share with you if you're interested. it's a sort of ''atmosphere mod'' in which to make the vision more realistic I set the values of the nets, pitch and camera similar to reality. sadly as we know camera modding is very limited on fifa 16, so i was able to find a lot of variety in height, but very little variety in angle. I can say with certainty that the low and medium-low height cameras are all almost perfect, but as mentioned before, many of these being replay based, I found little variety in the angle of the high shots. However, playing with the zoom I tried to deceive the angular perspective and try to get the result that was as close as possible to that type of framing. I did a very painstaking and meticulous job to apply this technique and I spent most of my free time, but unfortunately achieving perfection was impossible and I still hope that it can appear an acceptable result in realistic terms. As for some shots, especially those with a very far angle, I had to use the ''broadcast high'' package which has a bug (which isn't a real bug since it's a replay camera) where the shot bends when the ball passes from the center of the field, but close to the goal, the result is very pleasant. As for the nets, also in this case there was a limitation but I tried to do my best to make everything as close to reality as possible. as for the pitch, these are actually very variable in real life but they have been set to what they looked like when I created the package, and the same goes for the nets.

SOME EXAMPLES (I register with my mobile because if I do it with the pc it goes haywire)

Tottenham

Augsburg

Leverkusen

Valencia

Sassuolo

Leicester

Roma

Bayern

Benfica

right now I have completed the first 5 European leagues (premier, liga, bundesliga, serie a, ligue 1) but I plan to complete everything with the remaining teams of ucl, uel and conference. maybe even some South American team and the rest of the world.
If you are interested in the release of a mod please reply to this message, i will create a thread. However to respect each team package it is necessary to restart the game, but with the system I implemented it takes very little to set it up.

great work thank you, the camera height problem was something i really wanted someone to fix.. i can't wait to test this

Class work mate ! Really interested in the goalnets, any examples ?
We need pap's stadium server and db master, i will explain once the mod released, anyway it consists in applying different net values and the tense (eg. Soccernet_tri... ecc.), I already set the net pattern and goalposts in my db master files so just follow the instrictions. That's stuff we already know, i just tried to set it as close to the real values as possible

what the?! Has anything like this ever happened to anyone? without db master is impossible to make the mod, and my entire work of modding is over

ok it seems that the only hope is to use the .bak file, the problem is that it appears to me as a TXT file and even if I try to remove the ''.bak' extension the game doesn't read it as a database. does anyone know how i can fix it?

Hello friend, have you been able to progress on your camera project?
