the player models are horrible, almost scary looking.

I have to somewhat disagree. Lets look at the first FIFA on the xbox and the latest FIFA on the xbox. The reason for not using the PS2 is because of the tech within the PS2. The Xbox 360 and PS3, like the xbox, have nothing more than a PC like GPU within them. This results in developers being able to take advantage of the graphical side of things very quickly as it is familiar tech. With the PS2 it took a long time because it was a new and never before used architecture. I also use the xbox as it had a short lifespan (around 4 years) which is all I expect the xbox 360's lifespan to be. So, using the xbox as a reference, you might see that the change was not very great between the first and latest as far as graphics are concerned.ss4_goku said:newayz...what i will say is...give the graphics some time...i think there were some over anticipation of the graphics as this is a next gen game..but remind urselves that this is the first few games from EA of this series on this console...so, i'm sure over a year or two...the graphics on this will be amazing!! see how much PS2 advanced from the first few months to now?
Its not just because of that. Take games that are not ports from the ps2 for example. Look at Splinter Cell 1 on xbox and then look at Chaos Theroy xbox, slight graphical differences, but thats all.djdavedoc said:Not much advances because? they are all PS2 ports!!
