The Xbox 360 core is being discontinued and like Football Manager they just need to announce the game needs a hardrive to play.

The way they showed the game during the interview tells me we won't see any real footage before Leipzig. It is simply not allowed, and these things don't get leaked.

If anyone wants to hear Jon Champion in action click here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9z-_32djBU its a much better example than that ISS3 video. If they get the scripting right we will have a great commentary team on our hands.

Nah, 360 is a great machine, just the fact that people have one without a HDD is shite.

even though i sold my 360 to fund my ps3, I am now actually going to buy a new 360 to go with my ps3 next month. Just too many good games out now or coming for 360 to miss! - Forza, Bioshock, Mass effect etc :mrgreen:

Exactly, and atleast FIFA is constantly changing the gameplay and controls. Manual player switching (which I have requested on PESFan Suggestions for PES) and analog aim throughballs aswell as analog aim longballs.

In this aspect they are miles ahead PES that still uses scripted passing directions and such.

I thought PES already has analog passing. You can find it in the button config section...

Yes... but its fiddly and shite and doesnt work very well. By the time you have selected your direction and clicked to play the pass The Super Human AI has already robbed the ball from you and is about to score a Maradona Like Goal... :) ah you have just go to love PES and the people who think its a flawless game.

Also @ the people who are saying the 360 is shite.... Just because there is a core option (for those people who dont earn a super amount of money) doesnt make it shite. In fact as ive stated before some games ive played on both machines have looked and ran smoother on the 360. My PS3 sits under my 50" LG HD Plasma and collects more dust than our Hoover. I hardly ever touch it. If PES 2008 does MIRACULOUSLY have more than the 360 version AND they sort out the AI bullshit + Stiffness then I might have to give the old gal a good clean. I cant stand these blatnant fanboys who say Xbox sucks PS3 rules because of the Hard Drive as standard! or Blu Ray or whatever next is wrong with the 360!

some people actually believe that the 360 cannot look better than the PS3 on any game even when IGN/Gamespot etc have shown the proof.

But seriously people there is no need for 360 vs PS3 wars again! some people are putting up certain comments to cause another flame war. honestly people please understand you are just pawns to these companies, they are not your family, they don't give you any of there $$$ made from profits.

no need for the silly loyalty you feel you have to give these companies.

kobashi im not giving any company loyalty. If so I wouldnt own the top 3 consoles WII,360 and PS3. The thing is im sick of people slating a console or game with no real substance for doing so! thats like me saying that PES is complete utter shite and to bring on THIS IS FOOTBALL 2005! or worse still CLUB FOOTBALL!

Anyway my "Sensible" contact assures me all versions will be the same. Any issues they are having with the 360 are being ironed out and it isnt to do with the hard drive"

Yeah, I like Jon Champion...Lawro is a COMPLETE and utter idiot. But it'll make a refreshing change. But they really need to sort out the crowd. The crowd can make a game seem exciting and tense, but it can make the game seem more boring than it really is. (E.g. current PES).

i just remembered who jon champion is. he does lots of setanta commentary for the big games. one of the best commentators out there i think.

The reason I would agree with how poor the 360 is, has nothing to do with quality of the graphics or quality of the games, but has 100% to do with the build quality. It is one of the poorest build ever in a games console, as proved by the massive failure rate, and MS choice to extend the warranties.

But I agree that it is very good machine in terms of the games available, graphics, and for those who cannot afford a PS3, but it had some serious corners cut to keep those prices down initially, and so that it could get the jump on Sony on release schedule, Im not gonna bash it for that choice.
