Those are really bad news. Hope you are wrong. Stadium editor is a huge new feature that I am really looking forward to.

Maldini is a great journalist of AS, the best of that group of pricks at that bitch-newspaper. Roncero and Gatti are the worst there, couple of biased stupid people.

Little update from my contact:

They have 2 delete some options in PS3 version cuz of a 360 port problem(lack of harddrive). They will probably cut the stadium editor along with other details in the final version because the next-gen releases have to be sumwhat identical. Also, the structure of the ML is beeing worked on and is NOT finished as of yet. According to my contact it's total madness at Konami and it seems that they might have underestimated the 2008 project

Well, they thought they had to do some last minute modifications as it was always the case in the PES series. 85 % finished betas always gave a decent image of how the game would turn out, but they always tweaked it a little in the end. However, this year they have 2 huge next-gen releases and they have 2 make something decent of the Xbox version ( as oppose to last year). It's just not as easy as they thought.

Sounds like crap to me. The hard drive will have no bearing on what is in the game. So many contacts, so many different stories......and an overpowering smell of shite.

So the 360 version is really going to be worse... I somehow dont believe this. Ok your playing it on an Analog connection compared to PS3 HDMI Digital Connection and of course PC DVI connection. You will lose detail as the signal gets converted to Analog..... As for the fans not following the game I personally dont give a stuff about that. I want decent non scripted gameplay without all the stiffness and robotic movement.

I detect bullshit from these so-called contacts also. Again everyone says the 360 version will be worse just because they dont like Xbox or MS..... pretty pathetic if you ask me.

Bad news guys, I have just been in tough with my uber contact, who works in the highly secretive basement of his parents house, and he has stated that Seabass had died and won't be coming back to life anytime soon.

Aye, I find that very, very hard to believe. Beta = feature complete. They wouldn't be removing stuff at this late stage. Just fine tuning

Ok I dont really see why there are porting issues. its not like PES2008 is hugely different gfx wise from PES6...

So, they put in the development time, money and effort to create a stadium editor, then noticed the 360 doesn't have a hard-disk, so have to scrap the idea? Who's in charge of development - Kermit the Frog?

My contact has just given me some new information:

Good news - all of the premiership is licenced!!! Konami have been working had to find I"M flaws in the EA contract and they have found a few, meaning they can now licence the Prem. I've also been given information on the down-low about the Championship being in there and licenced aswell. Not sure about that TALKING yet though. Also been told the game will only feature the stadiums that were included in PES6 plus 2 more. One of them being the Porto Dragao stadium and the one we've seen COMPLETE in the screens. My contact also told me there is no face import feature in the PS3 version SHITE.

I agree with winston. Its bullshit and nothing to do with the Xbox 360 hard drive or lack of if you have a core. Some people just love to take a dig at the 360 because they make love to their PS3's all day long.

I hope that rumour of giving up stadium editor turn to be false. I trust you freMM but I hope Konami does not make a stupid thing like that. Oh well...

I forgot to mention: Jack your post about ML was pretty nice. But the TG list of FIFA soundtrack was better (anyway, Monkey Gone to Heaven from Pixies would be nice :D).

My contact (and it's real) never speak about stadium editor, super master league or graphic different.

PS: but the game are very very good and realist

thats it this thread has become wayy too confusing now, having read 228 pages i have no idea who has contacts whos pulling legs and whos just speculating anymore, couple with checking 15+ pages of "new info" and i stress "new" in the most sarcastic way ive decided that though some of you are probably telling a truth this has become too much of a rollercoaster, i dont know about others but i go from high one minute when one person mentions from their contact ofa new addition and low the next when another mentions something.

Im off this thread till at least after leipzig

new theory - seabass and the gang got together, and discussed minor modifications to pes6 over drinks. Seabass knew the fans weren't going to be happy with their half-arsed work. Then, as they were drinking they came up with a plan. Lets create fifteen "contacts". They tell certain members of the public lies. Unknowingly, they relay the message to fans and forums. Get them really excited about the game and all. Then, last minute, we pretend like there was a porting problem, and we had to make massive changes. Then, we take the pes6 cover, strap michael owen to the front, and there you have it: pes 2008: seabass' masterwork.

I have to say ; y'all have god points about trusting etc. You have to take everything wit a pinch of salt and have to be sceptical. However, I'm just passing through the news my cousin feeds me..Plz don't shoot the messenger
