i think it will be static like the feature on rainbow six vegas.

do you really think they scanned the inside of the mouth for every player who is already in the game... of course you can see the mouth movement because you put it on a standard 3d model

Yes of course it does, when it scans your face, it makes a face based on your attributes (eye size, length, mouth shap, width, etc...)...

you could possibly build a face just as good using the edit option, scanning a face makes it that much easier.

I'm quite worried about boots, all I've seen are plain black boots in the screens for this game.

In JLWE2007 all the players have plain black boots

Im pretty sure i read in one of the previews that u could create nearly any boot in the world mate, so i wouldn't worry much about that.

The new face mapping feature seems very cool, finally u can have your own realistic face in the game, and if u could put in faces for every player that would be unbelievable (but its Konami, so we'll have to wait and see on that one )

No mate you can clearly see the lips on the seabass photo, what happens is the Photo is wrapped around a 3D model, allowing the model to be animated.

This is going to be an amazing feature! Even the in game face editor looks fantastic! I wonder what the limit is going to be on creating such faces?

Only thing is that I don't understand what the Ronaldo Editing is doing... Can you change his movement with it?

No it calculates where the ball will be when its stuck and allows the 3D model to react organicly... in theory it would mean its not so much of a ridged animation.

Right, this is what it does.

1. It scans a pic ture of your face.

2. It looks at your nose in proportion to your face and decides your nose is say shape 12, 8 length, 3 width. Thus making a nose pretty much identical to your nose.

If you went into edit mode, made a face from scratch, and changed the nose attributes to shape 12, 8 length, 3 width... you would end up with that new player having the EXACT same nose as the one it automatically made when it scanned your face.

Its a pretty ouch moment because this could be stuff that was going to be announced at Leipzig if so i should think they are in deep crap.

No idea but they could well lose there associations with Konami and not receive any more updates Beta's.

I just wish the OF had different parts in it like :faces,boots,balls,teams formations,music ,......;
So whenever you wanna edit a specific part of the game without changing the rest ,there'd be no problem :This iedea is for the future ,remember it :mrgreen:

You can see a litlle footage of the animations if you play those four screens with the dummy rapidly after each other and it looks good i guess.

TIF2005 has also this feature. You take a picture with the eye toy and than put it in the game.

But this is a reason why people will blidly buy FIFA over PES, because of authenticity. I was certain PES 2008 would have all the official Adidas and Reebok boots in and have the right players wearing them (despite the screens), but now that they're all plain black in JLWE2007 I'm a bit worried.
