LOL :D Looks like Konami wasn't happy they placed the screenshots!
About the pictures:
It is clear these pictures are from an unfinished game. Indeed, by daylight you see no shadow of the players, but it is quite obvious that will be done in time. What Jack said about the way players run back in the same manner is true, but I think this is a real example where a screenshot or a movie make quite a difference. I am not afraid the game has a lack of animations, on the contrary!
What I liked was the formation screen: You can setup the free kicks! :)

What are peoples impressions then?

I think the presentation and faces are good but in game shots look unfinished and current-gen. The grass and nets are very poor compared to what I was hoping for.

Rooney has gone into plastical surgery i guess but everything else seems fine.

the breezeblocks dont bother me, but they look like they will explode when you hit them with a powerful shot.

i actually like the menu screens. looks polished. dont really like much else to be honest, raul's face shows how much detail konami are putting in tho. i cant wait to see the game when the lighting,grass and nets are finished.

They look good.. but Man Red? NOOOOOOOO!!!! No license for us this year? I think they have polished them up nicely. I just hope the gameplay lives up to it. Some of them players look so real!

haha, yeah, I don't really care about licensed kits as I'm pc user and kitmaker myself, but if licensed means more faces, like for Given(absolute must, one of the best keepers in EPL), Barton, Milner, Taylor, Solano than i'm more than happy.

The faces look very impressive though - they look a lot more "alive" than I've seen on other footy games. Obviously the true test will be when we see them in motion though. Ronaldo's giving the "oh, you better not be about to sub me ya bastard!" look ;)

Not liking the bad work on the hairs(I mean the part that looks like glue has been smeared on it)

Not liking those far camera picks at all.

I hope you can decrease the size of the shorts for players. They look way too clownish and Fifaish.

Also, the bench screen..why is the background behind the bench players so dark?


ON A POSTIVE NOTE:

-I love the faces

-The Nets and goals

-And player models look great

-Player recognition from a distance such as Kaka and C.Ronaldo look spot on


Remember, those screens are from the 360 version..which means that graphics and all will hopefully look much more polished on the PS3.

Aside from the negative points, I have a big feeling that the animations are going to be so life-like, that you won't even notice the graphics poor quality.

Do you honestly believe Konami will have spent extra time on making the PS3 version better than the others? It's not gonna happen. They've got a small enough development team as it is

Hmmm Newcastle and Spurs licensed.........why?!?! And here was us hoping the newcastle pic of owen was more coincidence then a view to who was being licensed. I can imagine nokami's pr comment in england:

"And now with Newcaslte Utd and Tottenham Hotspur license added to the game"
