By the way, do people under these mysterious NDA's realise they are actually to prevent the release of information? For example, if you went and sold a story to a magazine giving them exclusive information to make profit you would be breaking the NDA. Giving a rough hint about a possible feature on a small internet forum is NOT going to land you in any trouble!

i will not buy the next-gen version unless konami starts concentrating on bullshit instead of the gameplay.

The New Feature is while you play the game the camera keeps switching to a view of Beckham either sitting on the bench or in a directors box.
The commentators will also mention Beckham within 10 seconds of any game in the MasterLeague and continue to talk about him throughout the game even tho its Kuwait vs Zimbabwe

Oh wait Ive been watching to much soccer in America.

I think perhaps the most crucial thing that I'd like to find out about the new smooth, flowing gameplay and supposed lacks of cpu cheats is where or not any of the reviewers have actually played the game in ML or League/Cup modes.

Even the awful PES6, which was packed tighter than a tin of sardines full of cheats in ML mode played a bit better in exhibition mode.

My scepticism remains completely intact. Until I've got the game in my PS3, am midway through a ML season and have not yet had:
- the cpu decide to take control of my player
- my player being unable to move depsite even super-cancel
- my player move in a different direction to which I'm pointing the LAS
- my player continually stumble for no reason
- my player shoot 50 yards over the bar from 2 yards despite tapping shoot whilst holding R2
- scripted pass speed and direction
- scripted shot speed and direction
- every player collision result in my guy spin 10 yards in the opposite direction to where the ball goes whilst the cpu guy is unaffected
- my attackers make desparate runs towards the centre circle instead of towards the goal
- laws of physics in a constant state of flux so that tackles and deflected balls are scritped to fall to a cpu guy
- the referee being completely biased in favour of cpu
- my goalkeeper, no matter his stats, being made of jelly
- luck and probability is set at about 95/5 instead of a fair 50/50
- cpu players, half way through a match, suddenly become blessed with the skills of Maradona and the pace of a cheetah
If none of these things have transpired, then maybe, just maybe, I will start to believe in TeamVision.

I'm sorry for this post but there are some absolute plums on this forum sometimes. Labelling people "weirdo's" for obsessing over details in a pro evo forum is laughable and only highlights the ignorance of the member ie. ieatfanboys..etc.....the erason the majority of us are members in this forum is because we ganuine pro evo fans...fans that have fallen in love with the game due to the gameplay...which in part has to include the minor details that gel together to make the game play experience as realistic and as enjoyable as possible.

tape, nets, kits, faces, specific player animations make a difference to a lot of us...and I'm becoming more and more annoyed at overly aggressive members hiding behind their pc screen degrading other members. we are all here for one thing..lets cut that rubbish out.

spot on mate, i love pro evo always have done...want it to be as realistic as possible...i only come into this forum to discuss footie games, some people don't so i'm guessing they just come on evo-web to chat to other men....each to their own i suppose, who am i to judge!

That's the PS2 FIFA though, and the PS2 FIFAs are always poo. :) But that manual-pass-in-any-direction was already in UEFA CL, and it was brilliant (apart from the reaction time, which severely stunted it's effectiveness - having to power up the pass for a second means the situation changes, it's a shame there isn't another way to power them up, such as button sensitivity). It's how the next-gen game works that interests me, but they're doing a "Konami" and keeping the information to themselves for the time being.

I wonder why companies stopped working with button sensitivity... In the ISS games on PS2, if you hit the button hard you got a longer pass, so you could react straight away and do the pass you wanted. Now it's all about holding it down for a certain amount of time.
