Oh man, I give up with the speculation now, that's just too strange. The top one says "camera type", which you'd think would mean the later version (you can't take that out, can you), and yet on the top one the subs bench has no crowd behind it, which is a step backwards from the other shot.

I think they're fake.

You must be joking mate! In the top one the subs are all like statues in exactly the same position. On the bottom one they are all sitting differently and naturally. That is clearly visible.

You quite right Jack. The top one has more options while the bottom one has a crowd and better dugout. Confusing indeed.

They could have just moved it into one of the other options, the top pictures menu does look awfully cluttered.

Or the first picture is actually of a human controlled game and the second is not (things like "Command List" not being selectable would point to this).

The different GUI for the player names etc. could be explained by Konami letting you pick from a few different ones.

I noticed another thing don't know if its already mentioned but at the first pic the option that is higllited is in big letters : Formation settings, and in the second it is higlighted with a blue bar.

The first one has a player selected on the radar, a red-team guy with the ball (hard to see because the indicators blend together). The second one also has a player selected on the radar. So both are human versus CPU.

So this means they are different versions, surely. You wouldn't get camera options and then not get camera options in the same game.

The top one has to be a later version, with the extra options etc. - I think what you said earlier is most likely the case (that the top one is the later version, but the crowd has been removed from the picture-in-picture to try and get rid of the jerkiness my contact has experienced).

Seems crazy that you have to do that on a next-gen machine, but everything else points to it being a later version.

Mate i think its more of a case that konami are using the 360 engine as the core for which the rest of the game is developed, remember these are a W.I.P the missing crowds may just be what they are working on at the present time, next they may work on the lighting or bench models... remember nothing is set in stone.

I think them shots might be fake too JB, something just doesnt seem right about them.

The top one is 100% the most recent build of the game (still nowhere near finished however)

The lack of an audience could be because it's going really bad for the team in Master League and that means lack of an audience just like on PS2.

The more bad results you get, the less fans there'll be in the stadium. Or what?

I think the top one is most recent. There are more options and the dots on the radar seem to be better positioned. Also the top screen has 'P1' just above the menu and it has 'screen display during matches' as extra option.

Imo top is 360 and bottom in PS3. In every game i see the 360 versions seem to have much much better colour. I dont have any of them thoe.

Unusual becasue before the release of PES6 i keept an eye on it and i didnt see any pics of it this early :shock: .

Hopefully these are really old shots thoe (if they're from konmai) and i've noticed on one of them there is kind of a shaded area by the bars where the players names appear and the shaded area is kinda like :triangle: :square: :x: :circle: but without the shapes.

I'm beginning to think this amount of confusion can not be by chance, it's a pre-meditated decision by Konami I think to create a shroud of mystery around the new game. I think they know their market and know the fanbase will respond to it, even if it pisses them off in the process it will actually suck them into the process of finding and analysing new information much more than if they went in FIFA style and put all their eggs in one basket.

man, this is going to kill us...............the agony and the anticipation. Just hope konami dont f*** it all up with a half baked game - great in ambition and vision, but crap in execution.

look at us all, picking apart a few scraps of screenshots and micro analysing!!! COme one Konami, give us more and make it good pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeasseee
