hows about - lack of decent screenshots,

I bet that if everyone gave a positive view of the screenies that were released first - then there wouldnt be any mention that they were 'pre-beta' shots at all.

The prob is that people dont trust Konami any more, after WE8, PES4, WE10, WE10J, WEj+Europe, Pes5, PES6on 360 and on Ps2 and PC we see the same thing for years now! And paying a lot of money to get the games from Asia!

I often watch People playing WE/PES real hardcorefans in Greece and Germany, anyone has the same problem, where is the really new expirience??? what are people waiting for??? The big Magic game??? Yes they want something new, now we have powerfull consoles(very expensive ones)and what we get is a GT5, A Forza 2 and PES8! Ok better graphics, better AI's, but thats the way it goes, who thinks konami starts from Zero with a totaly new ballanced Game, other graphics, and so on, i a dreamer!

WE/PES sells and thats the truth, everyone who plays Footy games on Consoles and PC has to play it! everyone says PES6 is shit(me to) but thousands are online night for night, playing this game!

Hundreds of people are making patches, editing stuff for this shitgame..... so is it relay bigshit???

Watch the forums here Full of stuff and questions for this bad game!!!

Why we cant wait listen to the news and stay cool, now we start fighting here, thats bullshit! we are spamming, thats also bullshit!

I can't believe some people are getting their knickers in a twist about a game that hasn't even been released yet. No one has seen any in-game footage and no one has seen any decent screens, so how the hell can people start saying that they are disappointed in Konami?

I personally think that the marketing strategy of leaking small, small snippets of info to real enthusiasts (like most of us are) before making anything official works very well. Just look at us all desperately looking for new images or a trailer.

I am certain Konami won't release a game that is sub-standard graphicly and the gameplay will be top notch as it always is when it comes to Konami footie titles.

Respect to Adonis and all the others that are gathering info for us desperate people. I hope some people on here are big enough to eat their words when they finally realise what Konami has lined up for us.

good info guys i think the scans give us some great things to keep us waitting for this Legend .. and beleive me there is more things will make us say WOW konami not showing all the info yet ,, and i guess the shit pulling will be when you try to fallow a faster player like C.ronaldo with hiting the (X) button Twice :)

Adonis, Suff, TG and the mods...great work overall. I know I appreciate the info. Keep it up. You guys are doing the best you can.

I like the pictures so far the only letdown are as always the ML teamshirts... I know you can edit the shirts by yourself... but why does Konami not come up with a decent standard shirts for ML

the other thing is... what is wrong with graphic artist from PSM3 such a poor design... I´m sure even here in the evo-web you can find people who can do it ten times better

I can understand people's frustrations at the game and Konami. But there is no reason whatsoever to be so fucking rude to the people who are providing the fucking information. For fucks sake some of the fucking comments I am hearing from people is just fucking disgusting. :lmao::D:lol::lmao:\\:o/:mrgreen:

On a serious note Adonis and Suffwan (and others) are working hard at providing information to us first and they are doing a bloody good job.

Anyone who puts a smile on my face even for a pathetic reason such as a game should be applauded. And thats what they do and have done in the past. So kudos to you all. Everyone who wants to be fucking rude can fucking leave. I hope you all have a pleasant evening (or morning for our overseas friends) and may the Lord bless you all. :) Good Night

I remember 3 weeks ago, when PS3M said that they had:

Screenshots and information that would blow us away.
More advanced and developed PS3 screens that looked amazing...etc...etc
"SPICY" surprises they had but "couldn't reveal till June 5th"....

I look back at these statements and see how the screenshots and "information" turned out to be. An even bigger disappointment.

Are these the amazing PS3 screenshots that were supposed to blow us away, and make us change our previously negative reactions...?
Is this information (fan reactions) the unbelievable information they've been holding out till the release of their magazine?

Wow.

I couldn't imagine being more disappointed than the day KONAMI announced PES2008.

PS - Adonis, i think you're doing a GREAT job providing us with updates about the game. This site is all i ever needed. However, please understand that my frustration is directed ONLY to the news, and not the news bearers who have my upmost respect. Thanks man.


But so far the game (colours, lightening, JERSEYS, models, pitch) looks so so so.... so... current gen.

I think that you should never listen to the hype. Even though sometimes we just cant resist. Secondly you should always keep your hopes low. That way everything suddenly seems great. I tell you its like some kind of drug. Fans in pubs, bloody fantastic I say. :lol::applause:

Thats their job. They need to sell mags and a headline like that will increase mag sales/subscriptions. (unless they join these illustrious forums of course!)
What did you expect them to put as the headline? "Next month, some not so new pictures and lots of rumours and vague speculation of the new PES 2008":lmao:

Great to see the pub feature finally in the game. That's what real footy fans want.

Hopefully, there will be a hairdressers too, so the team can go and get their hair cut, or better still, buy some new head adornments, such as sharks.

There's also surely a good chance that the grocers shop will make it's debut appearance in PES2008, so the manager can go and buy some turnip footballs.

And with amazing new gameplay features like TeamVision, which is basically designed to stop you playing, thus making the game even more frustrating, graphics which look identical to PES6 on PS2 and no news whatsoever about changes to the ML structure, PES2008 sounds like it's the game we've all been waiting for....and have already been playing for the past 4 years.
